Hardee's — Restaurant in Gate City

The food is pretty good most times, I have personally never had an issue with them getting my order right. Their customer service is another story. I work in the fast food business and I know customer service is key to keep a customer happy and around even if the customer is wrong.

The last couple times I've stopped by to get food the employees have been really rude and just interesting. While I was ordering, I only got a large fry because I wasn't really hungry, the teen or young adult that was taking my order said "wow just that? What are trying to do lose weight?" I did not know how to respond to that and went on, the manager on shift that was supervising her did not say a word and she was standing right there with her. My more recent experience was when I ordered some cinnamon raisin biscuits, the lady that took my was ok but you could tell she was not in a good mood. When she brings us our food she practically threw it over the little wall where we were sitting and almost spilled my drink everywhere.

October 24th 2023 . It just keeps getting worse here. My grand babies burger bun was burnt black. She couldn’t even eat it so we threw it out. My fries were half full. I mean at least give me some that stand up 🤷‍♀️ asked for sauces for the tenders and no sauce was in bag. The last three times I’ve eaten here it’s not been good so at this point I probably will go to Pals next door and have better luck!

Hash browns has been hard last 3 times. Edit: Went today 10/30/19 for lunch and everything was perfect! Fresh hot food very friendly people. Our fries were made fresh for us . We have no complaints today. Thank you.

Went today on 5/26/21 hash browns way undercooked and biscuit was hard. It’s hit or miss...

Ordered 2 meals plus kids meal. Both combos was western cheeseburger. Both burgers literally has a nickel size drop of bbq. The burgers were really dry. The fries were also cold. I have has better products from their breakfast menue, but you never know if the biscuits are gonna be over baked and hard and we have had a few that for some reason tasted like they put too much salt on something to the point we couldn't eat it. Over the last few years the quality of their products have declined. Their service is spotty also. Sometimes they are nice others they are straight up hateful and dont care if you get your order the way you ordered it or everything you ordered. If you can I would try...
