The Landing Zone — Restaurant in Gaylord

I went in with my family for glow bowling to celebrate my birthday. Was told it would be an hour or so and they put us in the list. We were fine with that, we played in the arcade for a while and then went to the bar. My daughter ran a tab for us and gave the bartender her debit card. We sat there and played euchre. The gentleman came in the bar from the bowling alley and asked if we were waiting for a lane. We said that we were. He said that we were a ways down the list but would check to see if everyone stead of us was still waiting. After a while, my daughter went up to see how much longer and was told we were scratched off the list because he came around and we weren’t there so they tight we left. Now….. this is the same guy who first asked if we were waiting & then lied saying he came around again. We never left the table that we were sitting at when he first asked. So at that point we decided to just tab out and leave. My daughter goes up to pay and get her card and they can’t find it. It’s gone…..it’s bright yellow and glows in the dark…. And more missing. So we are now 2 hours at the bowling alley, not able to bowl and no debit card. No one was apologetic, it was more like we were the inconvenience and not...

We went there as a girls night out (6 women) and it was a tad busy. The manager approached us and said there were no lanes open. She directed us to the bar area, and told us she would reserve a lane and let us know when it was available. (Satisfied with that service) However, after an hour and 15 minutes with zero updates, (our food was served and we were done with drinks.) We decided to check in ourselves and the man running the alley lanes said the lane been open for us for about an hour. An entire hour wasted on food we didn't really want. The manager also offered us this "deal" of 2 pizzas, a pitcher of pop and unlimited bowling for the "small" price of 199.99. After we declined this offer (just there to bowl a couple of games and have a couple of drinks, not close the place down) we seemed highly unwelcome. Even the lady taking our orders seemed annoyed with us. Overall, the experience was just okay. We will take our monthly girls night out elsewhere 😊. My only advice, call ahead apparently if you have a small group or even a large group as it seemed to...

Scheduled a Birthday party for my 4 year old, they had nothing done or ready. They had an obvious miss communication between staff, management and kitchen. They ran to Walmart for the included balloons, cupcakes and threw together a table over an hour after we had been there. They did try to make up for it but, it still was a disaster. Not only the issues with the party but, a bunch of intoxicated bowlers made for a very dissatisfied experience. We encountered an extremely rude employee on top of all the other issues. For what we paid per person I would say avoid parties here for a good period of time. I doubt we will choose to come back to this...
