Panda Express: A Masterclass in Mismanagement and Culinary Misery My recent Panda Express visit was a disaster. Four people ahead of us became a 30-minute wait because they prioritized online orders over in-store customers. The kitchen was chaotic, constantly out of items. When they finally took our order, they wrote it down, then walked away. Others behind us were served, skipping us entirely, twice. Our order, once filled, had wrong ingredients. We didn't bother complaining; they seemed utterly lost. The food itself was disgusting. Cold, bland, mostly sugar-coated dry meat and overcooked rice. "Mushroom chicken" and "Kung Pao chicken" tasted identical, save for a few chilis. "Beijing beef" and "orange chicken" were pure sugar bombs. Only the broccoli beef was remotely edible. The aftermath was worse: my gut felt terrible, leaving me nauseous and sick until midday the next day. It's baffling how a franchise serving such...
Read moreI have been going to this location for a while pretty much since they opened the portions used to be a lot bigger and better but now it seems like you're getting more broccoli than you are beef it seems like you're getting a decent amount of orange chicken but then when you buy other foods like the sesame seed chicken you're getting more of the vegetables that are in it then you are actually meat because I guess vegetables are cheaper than the meat so they bring their costs down even the carry-out containers are smaller significantly smaller so of course you make the carry-out containers smaller you can't put the same amount of food that you used to put in there the manager on the phone just told me that it's the new people that weren't trained properly but that's my fault I'm paying the same amount of money to get 12 pieces of broccoli and three pieces of steak that doesn't sound right to me you look at the picture...
Read moreCame in 2 hours before they closed (so i understand I won’t be receiving the freshest of food) and upon returning home to eat my food I open it to find the chow mein to be essentially ramen with the amount of oil that filled the bottom. That wasn’t an issue for me because im not one to complain. I just closed it up and tossed it. What bothers me is the fact that I received food poisoning from the few bites that I did have. Since 12am I’ve been continuously sick and unable to keep down even water. That’s just not okay , I don’t want anything in return done or my money back but I would like for the manager to train the employees a bit better with health and safety when it comes to food. Maybe it’s because im from Canada and maybe standards are higher but to be comfortable serving a costumer food which has clearly gone bad is unacceptable anywhere...
