As I was passing through my old unfortunate hometown, I stopped in at the Sonic to order a drink for my very young son, husband and my self. I pulled into a stall and we looked over the menu. I pressed the red button to place our order. A very faint welcome to sonic may I take your order came through the intercom. I began by informing the worker that I could barely hear her, but we somehow managed to get our order placed. A few moments later the worker who took my order came out to my car to verify that she got my order correct and I informed her that she did. She told me that she could barely hear me and I told her that I was barely able to hear her as well. She then proceeded to tell me that I should have told her to speak up and again I told her that I did. The worker then stated "Oh Wow" with some mild attitude and began walking towards the building. Once our order was completed another worker by the name of Fannie Davis came out to deliver my order with a look of prepared for confrontation. As Fannie Davis began handing me my drinks she was not informing me at all about what she was handing me, she was just aggressively handing off the drinks. Fannie Davis then asked me if I would like my receipt and when I said "no" the look of disappointment that this 5 month pregnant customer with a 4 year old child in the car did not encourage a hostile confrontation was simply mind blowing. I pulled into the restaurant and observed one car in the drive thru and one in a parking spot. I pulled into the parking spot and activated the red button. I WAITED OVER 5 MINUTES AND NO ONE ANSWERED MY RED BUTTON. I decided to go to the drive thru where the was a delay in acknowledging my presence. I was in the process of closing my window getting ready to leave when someone finally came on the speaker box. They didn't offer an apology for the wait or a discount. Read moreTook unusually long for a sonic for someone to even answer after hitting the button, like 3-4 mins. Then when someone did answer they did NOT sound happy at all. Food was okay, tots weren't fresh, that's for sure. Then I had to wait another 3-4 mins after pushing the button again, to ask for the receipt I didnt get with my order. I would say all in all I spent about 12 minutes are just to get us medium order of tots and a large ocean water.
