Palermo Pizza — Restaurant in Georgetown Charter Township

I normally do not leave reviews as some experiences are simply one-off anomalies, but the lack of service, understanding and sheer attitude of non-caring by this location and staff recently has 100% turned myself and family off from this business. Recently we ordered almost $100 worth of pizza, breads sticks and salad for a get together we had. We were told it would be delivered in 30-40 minutes. After 50 minutes we called for a status to see if there were any issues. They stated that the food was done and sitting there but that it would probably be another 20-30 before it would be delivered. We decided to just pick it up as we did not want our food sitting under heat any longer. We picked it up and there was no offer for the trouble or inconvenience by the staff and they left a general attitude of "deal with it" to us. When we got home, they did not give us everything and it resulted in us calling again. They did deliver the missing salad and again, it was treated with an attitude of "eye roll and shoulder shrugs". Treat your customers right, as they are the ones paying your bills and keeping you around. Didn't know getting an order right was so hard. Requested a "deluxe pizza sub". This specific name is not on the menu but I specifically asked for a sub like a deluxe pizza minus the sauce with mayo instead-NOT the sub with lettuce and tomatoes on it. What did I get? The deluxe sub with lettuce and tomatoes on it WITH pizza sauce. 😖 Called and requested a remake because I got exactly what I DIDN'T want. I again explained that I want a deluxe pizza sub--like a deluxe pizza only on a sub, no pizza sauce but mayo instead. The person taking the order confirms and says you want our super sub. Ok make me a super sub witout pizza sauce but mayo instead. What did I get? A super sub with pizza sauce AND mayo. GROSS! 🤮 Palermo's you ruined...

I called a couple days before my son’s bday party to put in an order and to make sure they would be ready for pickup at 12pm/12:15pm the person I talked to said they open at 12. I asked if there is anyway they would be ready for pickup at noon? They said that someone would be there at 11:15am and to just call the day of the pickup and to not order ahead of time. I called at 11:15 and numerous times until 11:50am... I had a friend go there also and no one was present... I wish I was given correct info so I wouldn’t have waited to order pizza. I instead ordered from hungry Howies which had my 6 pizzas pumped out in 15-20 min. I will never order from here again. Glad there was another pizza place open otherwise I would have...
