Asked for a mushroom and beef pizza. As the buffet only had sauage& pepperoni and a pepperoni pizza on it. The waitress went in bar came back and said would do half, but we do not do request? I told her we had talked to the owner at a Nice restaurant and he said they can make a pizza if there is not one on buffet. I told the waitress what he said. She replied, he is the owner, and he can do whatever he wants. But we don't. This is the third time I have been at this buffet. The man that cooks the pizza never has a smile and looks like he is mad as he'll all the time. Very unpleasant. We ordered breadsticks, and after the waitress put the order in to the man, he read the order and rolled his eyes. The breadsticks were doughy not done. The mushroom pizza came out and there were 4 pieces with mushrooms. I grabbed three and there was a man that said wow they actually have more than pepperoni. I said yes and he said he likes mushroom pizza too. The buffet isn't a buffet per say with only pepperoni as some people don't like it. The salad was stocked well. The atmosphere is dark and not a happy feeling. Smiles and some light would make this more of a happy upbeat place. Iam sure having a selection of different pizza would draw more customers. Our family ate at 812 Pizza Company in Georgetown, IN this evening. It was an excellent experience and I highly recommend this new establishment to Georgetown. We were greeted immediately upon entering and were promptly seated. Our server provided excellent customer service. We split 2 medium pizzas between the four of us. They tasted as good as they looked! The medium pizza was 14", which is most pizza places Large pizza. These two pizzas were more than ample, with extra leftover for us to take home to enjoy later. We also split an order of breadsticks with beer cheese and marinara sauce. The beer cheese was very good! I also had a single Classic Italian salad with my dinner. The salad tasted very good and was a great accompaniment to my dinner. Finally, each of us enjoyed a Junior size handmade milkshake for dessert. My caramel banana shake was awesome! This is a great place for a family or group to get together, with a very casual atmosphere and good food! The music selection being played was great and exactly to my taste. I enjoyed it very much until the crowd in the restaurant finally overpowered the music volume, which was a testament to the good time being had by those there while we were there. 812 Pizza Company has been open less than a month and appears to be hitting on all cylinders.
