Dave's Blazin BBQ — Restaurant in Georgetown

This is great bbq! It's not the best bbq I've had, but if you are in this area, this is bangin bbq. We had brisket, pulled pork, ribs, bacon ranch pasta, candied bacon baked beans, corn pudding, Mac n cheese and coconut cream pie. Brisket was excellent, moist, tender, juicy and a bit fatty which made it delicious. Pulled pork was a bit bland. Flavorful if you added the bbq sauce. For the record, I did not like the bbq sauce, it was too ketchupy for me. The other people in the group liked/loved the bbq sauce. It's thick and well seasoned, I just prefer more molasses sweetness. Ribs were great alone with the dry rub, no sauce needed. The spices in the dry rub have a deep yet not too spicy taste. The meat is fall off the bone, juicy, and super tender. Bacon ranch pasta salad was sooooo good. Perfectly cooked pasta with the right level of ranch spices. Baked beans were very good, the candied bacon makes the beans extra special. Coen pudding was fresh cornbread packed with corn, super moist. Man n cheese was ok, pasta was aldente but sauce was queso from a can. Honestly, amazing job. My friend did a bulk pick up order for her wedding. 8Ib of Pulled chicken, 8Ib of Pulled pork, 8 Ib of Brisket, 4 trays of Mac & cheese, 4 trays of Baked Beans, 84 buns, 4 trays of corn pudding. I picked up the order. They had everything Ready to go in separate boxes so it was easier to stack in my trunk. They brought it out to my car. They did forget the drinks and stopped me and brought them out. They did notice that we didn’t ask for any sauce and asked if we wanted some. So I asked them to go ahead and mix up whatever they could for about 72 people, and they gave us more than plenty. When we sat out the food, we realized they forgot the brisket. No big deal we planned on calling later. The owner end up calling and letting us know they did forget the brisket and hand-delivered it himself which was a 35 minute drive. This was our first time at Blazin BBQ. The menu was very simple and easy to order from. When ordering, the staff was quite friendly to recommend what to order and what their personal favorites were. When we received the food, one of the items was incorrect so we had to get that corrected. We had ordered a pulled pork BBQ sandwich, and the 3 meat sampler with a side of mac n cheese and fries. The sliced turkey breast was actually quite good. The bark was very good but the meat was a bit dry. The pulled pork was tender but also dry. The pulled chicken was my least favorite due to the dry chicken accompanied by the dry seasonings. There was a significant lack of choices in BBQ sauces which was a shame. The mac n cheese was actually my favorite part of the meal and would recommend anyone to get it. Overall, we spent $45.
