I love them. They don't have the best Mexican food, ever, but it's a lot better than most places. The best in Georgetown, for sure when it comes to certain dishes. Prices are great, service is usually always fast and correct. I have always had a clean table and food was fresh. When I had one issue they fixed it easily. Call in orders have never been wrong. I don't drink but some in my party do, and it appears they have great prices on certain draft.
They updated it and it is small but cute. The fish up front are interesting. I once took some of their fish off their hands. I raise the same fish as they were keeping and noticed their tank was getting full. I asked if I could purchase some of the fish as they reproduce so fast anyway, they just gave me some. Not food, but it was really cool for them to do that and those fish were really healthy and huge. I still have them years later. Really a...
Read moreThe last two times I ate here were unpleasant! The time before last I came in close to closing sat at the bar,got my drink and was served my food while they mopped the floor behind me with fabulous? Then they proceeded to dry the floor by placing a huge fan behind me,this place is never friendly towards me so I thought it was probably because I came in late? The last time I went there the male owner greeted me,Rosa ignored as usual, the man served me a drink and went on his business. A waiter dropped off some chips and salsa. There was a man sitting to the left of me who they liked so they gave him a menu and took his order, and had pleasant conversation with him. I finished my drink decided not to eat because I wasn't given a menu I thought I could go somewhere else. I was not given a check so I went to the front paid $8 for a medium margarita left a dollar tip and thought to myself I will...
Read moreWe were worried because the photos online here look mediocre, generic Mexican food at best. Our experience is much different. Service is a little slow but you can’t expect quality with McDonald’s speed. I knocked a star off because they brought the plates out one or two at a time. Took 5 minutes for a table of 6 to get everything and we had to remind them of a couple items we ordered. Not a big deal. The food is good. The chili reanos dinner plate is an interesting variation of what we have found to be among the more authentic. Get always order the chili reanos before ordering to gage expectations. Cheese inside, egg coated, VERY large peppers with a touch of heat, ground beef mixed with diced sautéed onions on that smothered in melted American cheese. They made me happy with sautéed jalapeños on top. That’s a nice touch more should do...
