Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Georgetown

I give this place 1 star because they have poor customer service, they cannot comprehend simple orders without making a mistake, and they can not take split orders. Firstly I went through the drive-thru and asked for 2 separate orders, I was then told that this was not possible, so I said that this was fine and that I would come through a second time. Then, I came through the first time and I ordered 2 sonic cheeseburger meals, which came with 2 drinks. I received the two drinks, a bag of food and no receipt. I did not check my order in the drive-thru, I instead went around a second time to order my sonic blasts. When I did this I ordered 2 small sonic blasts, had my order repeated to me and pulled up to the window. I was handed 2 sonic blasts, one being small and the other being medium. I asked if I paid for this medium blast and I was told “it’s only like 12 cents extra anyway”. At this point I just brushed this slight inconvenience off my shoulder and left home. When I arrived home I was in for a surprise… who could have guessed my order was incorrect? Instead of my 2 cheeseburger meals, I received a cheeseburger meal and a burger with my two drinks. Lastly, I then decided enough was enough and called this sonic and told them I was missing a fry. When I did this I was insulted by being accused of being a “liar”. She said that I did not order 2 meals, that I only ordered one and an extra cheeseburger. By this I was dumbfounded, considering I did receive my 2 medium drinks from my meals. We exchanged many more words, which resulted in a a grown woman who works here threatening me. Specifically I was told “ well why don’t you come get it, I’m not the one to mess with”. I was in complete shock after being threatened by a grown woman (I’m 16 years old, keep in mind). In the end I decided that this was a place I would never recommend to anyone. I hope that this woman (I believe Shanon was her name) is no longer allowed to work here. My experience was the worst I have ever had, so I believe that 1 star is a stretch even, but I could not give 0. Sonic on Georgetown road near Taco Bell is the worst place to order fast food. I hope that they get what they deserve for treating me...

Came in today for a replacement order since the last time we came through the drive thru they sold us raw burgers. We walk inside and see that there is another family waiting to order. It was obvious they were frustrated and had been waiting a long time. We all watched as several employees came to the counter without saying a word to anyone waiting for service. They literally behaved as if nobody was there. It was so weird! The family in front of us tried to get someone's attention, they did not succeed even though there was about five people within a foot away from them. The family then decided to leave since nobody even acknowledged them. I stood for a couple more minutes as multiple employees looked right at me without speaking a word. Finally, I said, "excuse me!!! You did see that last family walk out right? Is nobody working the counter?" Immediately a woman with yellow bleached hair, a headband and a tattoo on her head/neck that had been standing there looking right at the people the ENTIRE time shouts "well they're doing something". Then she began mumbling and cussing under her breath. It would be different if there was only a couple people working and they were struggling. That was certainly not the case today. Another employee finally came up and took care of us. She did provide good service. We are eating in the dining room now and I can count that there is at least 8 to 10 people working in the kitchen. None of which could be bothered to greet customers. Such an awkward and uncomfortable experience. We eventually got our food and thankfully this time our burgers weren't raw. The food was actually good but...

Food is FRESH.!! Opinion rings are not dry or hard. GREAT customer service.!!! Thank you.!

Update since I post the first time I have always had a good experience until after COVID it seems like the employees have gotten a bad attitude just because you are there to order your food like they don’t want to work there. I went there before and while in drive through I was order my food a family of 5 and at one point the girl said HUHHH ANYTHING ELSE.. I just drove off without say anything else I don’t have to spend my money here.!!! This morning I order and they messed the entire or up and my onion rings were so burnt they knew they shouldn’t have served them to anyone.!! They I go in cause I checked my merger and it was wrong so I went in to have them correct it everyone had a attitude because they had to fix it like I messed up… so after that I didn’t have a full amount of mustard or ketchup on my burger that’s a small issue but because of everything else it just build up the frustration so that was a issue for me. Yea I’m over them and they use to be so great and the quality of food was good obviously my previous post I don’t mind telling when your great but when you bad I will speak about that too and they lost a customer for sure.!!!
