Honestly wish I could give a better review as really my partner and I typically only have issues with one lady :( all the other staff is super nice and attentive (but I will more than likely be ordering ahead as of now to make sure I can get my order right :(!..I have no other options to fly by either in the morning omw to work hence the continued use...) We've been coming to this location for a good minute now every morning (him longer than me) and we've never been having issues till now. We are very pleasant people and know what we like to order in the mornings. What makes us unpleasant is when we get nasty attitudes first thing in the AM, and being told we want an order. I know the worker may be trying to help us "save" more money but I'd honestly not even mind paying a little extra if my coffee didn't taste as sweet as this did :/. Last week I ordered my coffee per usual, and asked for whip, to which the lady running the window said "so you want x, not x" when I corrected her several times (as I knew what she was offering me came with a flavor I don't like in coffee) she finally said the same thing I had originally said, followed up with "so you want x" frustrated she kept pushing this other label on me I gave up and just said yes (which i shouldn't have) and got my order to find the flavor I don't like in my coffee,,,,in my coffee,,,,,the next morning my partner was driving me to work, and he asked what he should say to ensure my order is correct....we saw that there had been a staff rotation for the window and the woman wasn't stationed there so we were a bit relieved (as he also does not like this drink they've been pushing onto us.) A man answered the intercom and we ordered, and we were rung up for the wrong drink again. My boyfriend politely asked for it to be corrected, when the woman from the previous day hopped on uninvited may I say and started correcting US on what we wanted ordered. My boyfriend now frustrated asked for it to be corrected AGAIN which then the woman in turn just said "we can make it without the flavor you want." She must have forgotten her mic was on (or maybe not) and said "that drink (the one they are pushing onto us) doesn't even come with that flavor anyway." Now I'm curious because if it didn't come with that flavor, why did we get to work and see we had TWO stickers on, one with the corrected order, and then one underneath with the flavor we both did not want in our drinks? It tasted closer to what we had been ordering previously before so we went about our day. We really didn't want to catch her attitude again so we didn't go there from fri-sun. This morning, we order our drinks, alas they are corrected again, and we again ask for the flavor not to be put in. The man at the window / on the mic was super kind helpful and pleasant and I in return was back to him of course! He asked if we could pull forward which was no problem in my book and I complied. However the woman making our drinks or handing them to us, legit said NOTHING to us when handing the drinks and looked like šš these two emojis put together. I have no idea which person it is as she didn't have her name tag out on display nor did she really seem to be in uniform unless it was under her jacket (?) We got the drinks and I'm positive there is the flavor in this ungodly sweet drink that we both dislike. We just want to go back to our normal order that never gave us problems before :( it's super disheartening too because I've worked at 2 dunkin locations (not this one) and know what goes into making these drink flavors and know for a fact if I ever called back or disrespected a customer like she has been doing (and constantly getting the drinks wrong) I would have been written up based on my previous work experience with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFor starters. They have hot chocolate on their signs, that they're "advertising", and they're not even selling it in the store (there was no date saying if it was out to offer or if it was going to be offered on a certain starting date). They didn't have any signs saying that they ONLY have 3 out of the 4 or 5 "hot cocoa" in store. They had a sign showing all the varieties of HOT cocoa and didn't offer the one I asked for (mint flavored). Strike 1 which I could've slid under the rug but then this happened.
Next, when the food was ready at the drive through, they only had 1 label for the drinks that was brought out, the girl got confused on what they were giving because they said "these don't have labels on them only the coffee" which was one of my other orders eye roll
Next, we get the food. We had to pull up for this one. They gave us our hash browns. IMMEDIATELY I knew the hash browns were messed up. In the bag, BEFORE looking in it, you can FEEL the soggy, round hash brown clumped together in the bag. I took a bite of one hash and it was like they were fried in water. Tap water to be exact. How in the world do you over cook, greasy hash and it comes out to taste like water. Not grease, BUT water, tap water?!?!
Then, they gave me my "hot" chocolate. Now I know, that you know, that we all know DD is not breaking bank to put hot liquids in a cup so when you grab it and feels cool on the outside and hot on the inside. So you should be able to feel SOME KIND OF HEAT. One of the lady employees came out of the store, confidentially handed us the cup and walked away. There's no way in Haiti's that she didn't know the "hot" chocolate was not hot in the thin cardboard cup. Because it wasn't hot...at all. I opened it and the powered was clumped together, sitting on top of the brown water. No steam. Like they put the water in first then the powder. No stirring. Or vice versa, but still no stirring. Sipped it to validate my conclusion and what do you know folks? Cold, powdery "hot" chocolate. That taste like what? Tap water. Left the cold cocoa at the establishment and the food wasn't far off. Because it didn't make it down the road. Trash at the nearest gas station. Everything I ordered was terrible and it sucks that I wasted my gift card on it. Could've saved that for a different location that I was comfortable with.
I'd give it no...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe service in this place is a joke. I watched in the drive through as the person in front of me was told to wait almost 3-4 mins before ordering. Then I had to wait about a minute before I could order. Then the lady who took my order didn't say sorry about the wait or anything like that. Just "ready to take your order" in a monotone unmotivated voice. Then I was told to pull up to the second window in the same kind of "I don't care" kind of voice. When I got to the window, the gentleman asked me to repeat my order. Why? I have no idea. Then, as I expected, he asked me to pull up to wait for my order. So now I'm waiting even longer. I pulled up to a parking spot and walked inside to speak with the manager. I informed the manager that I am not happy and I wanted to speak with the owners. She did not give me the owners information. About 5 minutes later I finally received the second half of my order with absolutely no apology from the manager.
Here's the deal. I can understand if someone didn't show up to work that day and they're understaffed or some other legitimate excuse. If the manager had communicated that to me and had a smile on her face I might not have been so upset. What really upsets me is the poor work ethic and general lack of caring about the customer. It's like working slowly is an acceptable thing to do. The Dunkin' Donuts brand is being seriously tarnished by restaurants like this that can't seem to get the food out in an accurate and timely manner. Like Parker Lee in a previous review, I too am from MA where the Dunkin Donuts restaurants are FAST, ACCURATE and COURTEOUS. It wouldn't take much. All these guys would have to do is get motivated, get some training, and have a little bit of pride in...
