So bummed this place wasn’t any better! The pictures on the truck look nothing like what you get. No salsa (which I know is a gringo thing) only hot sauce. Flavors were bland. Food was outrageously expensive. Won’t be back

I'll start off by saying that the food was pretty good. With that out of the way, my experience there was very lackluster.

For starters, I got there around 930am Monday so I expected the breakfast crowd would've already rolled through and that they would be ready to sling some tacos.

I ordered a chicharron taco, campechano taco, and an al pastor taco. The lady told me that they were out of al pastor. Okay, I ordered a beef fajita instead, they didn't have it. Hmmm okay then I'll have pork chop taco. Nope, don't have it. Camaron? No. Okaaaayy. Umm..

At this point I'm ready to just forget it and leave hungry but a guy came into the truck at that time and told the lady that they can do the al pastor. Great. So the lady let me know that it would take a few minutes to cook up the al pastor. Sounds good to me, I can wait.

So my question is, did she just not want to cook up something fresh?

Anyway, not knowing there was already one in the bag, I asked for salsa when my tacos were ready and she put a container in the bag. I go to eat and there is a hilariously small amount of salsa in each container. Like not even enough for half of one of the three tacos. Glad I asked for another, but if I had known I would've asked for 10 of them.

There is a decent amount of meat per taco, no qualms there, and the meat was seasoned well and cooked well. Was it worth the $14 I paid for 3 tacos? Not in my opinion. I will try them again during the rush times and see if they were just having an off-day but I'm going in skeptical as...

Dear El Patron,

I recently visited your food truck hoping to enjoy some authentic Mexican food, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing—not due to the food itself, but the service I received.

It took 20 minutes for my order of 3 tacos to be prepared, despite there being only one other customer at the time. Once the tacos were done, I waited while a group of four arrived, and instead of handing me my ready-to-go tacos, the employee decided to take their order first, leaving my food to sit there.

When I finally received my order, I asked to confirm that there were no onions, and was told there weren't any. However, when I returned to my car and checked, the first taco I opened had onions. Frustrated, I returned, and the replacement taco I received was very skimpy—appearing to be made from splitting someone else’s order. The same thing happened with my other taco, and when I went back to request a refund, the employee’s response was erratic, blaming the busy atmosphere for the mistakes. At one point, she remarked, "You should know things happen," as if that excused the poor service.

While I understand that mistakes happen, what upset me most was the lack of accountability and the complete absence of an apology. To make matters worse, as I left, the employee rudely commented that I needed to have more "class."

I wanted to bring this to your attention because I believe that every customer deserves respect, honesty, and proper service. I hope my feedback helps improve future customer experiences.

Sincerely, -Daniel

My wife and I stopped here for lunch the other day and it didn’t disappoint!

We’ve driven by so many times and each time say “we should try that place!” Definitely glad we did as we now have an awesome food truck only minutes from the house.

Food looked and tasted so good I didn’t even think to take a photo until my tray was empty. I had the El Pastor tacos and my wife had the Fajita quesadilla and they were both so amazing. We kept talking about our lunch throughout the day too.

If you’re in the area and want some authentic food, check this truck out! Can’t...
