DON MIGUEL TAQUERIAS GEORGETOWN — Restaurant in Georgetown

Was in Georgetown this morning and decided I had a taste for breakfast tacos. Luckily I stumbled upon this hidden gem located inside of a Valero gas station.

The gentleman who I assume may be the owner greeted me very quickly with an upbeat hello and a friendly smile. Already off to a great start in my book, good customer service makes everything better 😇.

I ordered two flour tacos; bacon, egg, potato and cheese and they were made fresh and ready in less than 5 minutes. The tacos were wrapped in foil which kept them hot! When I stopped to take bite several minutes later the temperature was still piping hot which I loved. The tortilla tasted great, as did all the ingredients and the tacos tasted well seasoned.

Went for breakfast tacos — super friendly service and quick, too! You can tell everything is fresh made to order, which I really appreciated.

The food and salsa could use a bit more salt, pepper, and spice, and the tortillas could’ve been cooked a little longer for my taste. Not sure if the milder seasoning is intentional based on the demographic. I have noticed that with most of the food around Georgetown— just something to note if you like a little more kick.

Gave a three on atmosphere just because its a small spot in an already small gas station but that is not really a major concern just to be noted for when you arrive.

That said, I’d eat here again and would say its worth...

It’s my first time coming here and the food is amazing and delicious. La salsa verde está sabrosa. We ordered breakfast tacos, y su están sabrosos. They do offer a variety of choices but you know me, I’m basic. Also, the seating is outside. Today’s weather was breezy and not that hot, minus the sun beaming down. All in all, if you want to take a quick bite and rest for a bit, I would recommend Don Miguel’s Taquerias....
