The chicken and shrimp da diavlo is FANTASTIC!!! OMG!! LOVE the pizza here too!! I've lived here in Georgetown for about 4years now and this was my first visit to this spot. It may be a bit tricky (traffic/location wise) to get here. But, its totally worth it!! It's a small mom n pop sort of place. The couple who run the show here were very attentive, and fast. Obviously refreshing, since nowadays it seems like most places have zero sense of urgency 🙄 Anyways, there were 13 people in my party- mostly kiddos who ordered pizza. Since they had such an incredible amount of traditional and 'different' items on their menu- i couldnt resist trying something new,,,AND EXCITING!! IT WAS SOOO WORTH IT!! THE CHICKEN AND SHRIMP (something, fa or da 🤔)DIAVLO was to die for!! Total flavor party for the taste buds, super tasty and seasoned beyond expectations. HOWEVER, the only change I will make on my next visit.....is to double the pasta that this dish comes with. Its more of an 'angel hair' type of noodle which compliments the main sauce and goodies perfect. But, in order to achieve the full satisfaction from this specific dish- that is my advice- double the pasta. You will not be dissapointed 😌 OHHHH!!! AND!!! ONE MORE THING!! i was super stoked to learn (while dining in there) that they actually have a drive-up window!!! Talk about...
Read moreWent there last Sunday evening. We had a large margarita pizza and a Frankie's salad. The pizza was good, my only criticism was the crust was fairly bland yet had a decent chew. The salad was good. Overall I would give the food 4-stars.
However, the service was poor and the cost was high. For a salad, a large pizza, and 2 soft drinks was about $38 (not including the expected tip before you receive your food). This is more than what you would pay at a fancy pizza place (i.e. Burn Pizza in Austin on East 6th street or Ken's Artisan Pizza in Portland, OR where you wait 2 hours to get amazing wood fired pizza with high quality toppings). Also, my biggest gripe was the service. If a customer asks for a medium pizza box after they are done eating, just give it to them. I had half a large (16") pizza left and they insisted twice on me fitting it in a small box. Needless to say by the time I got home my stacked pizza congealed into one. I'm all about supporting local businesses and even paying more for that privilege, but you have to try to be better than the other guy. Overall service and...
