Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffet — Restaurant in Georgetown

This is easily one of my favorite Chinese buffets, if not my top favorite. Reading some of these reviews, it's obvious that some people just use internet reviews to vent about the most childish and entitled problems they encounter.

I love the remodel, the place looks and feels a lot nicer. I primarily come for the Sushi more than anything but I dabble in the Egg Drop Soup, Coconut Chicken / Shrimp, Bourbon Chicken, Egg Rolls, etc.

The food has gotten a lot better as well, in my opinion. I've had my fair share of sub-par Chinese food and this certainly isn't it.

The company I work for sets up meetings here for large groups of people quite often and the staff are always very friendly and accommodating.

I definitely recommend people give this place a try if you like Chinese food. I've yet to try the Hibachi but the Sushi is great! The prices are pretty much on par with every other Chinese buffet I've been to in the area.

People complaining about their delivery requirements; it's a Chinese buffet! I don't know many buffets that deliver, period. If you want take-out, call one of the 30+ Chinese food places that build their business around delivery.

People complaining about kids menu prices; kids can eat a ton of food and it's a buffet. If you want "cheap" and "easy", go to McDonald's or trot over to a Golden Corral where I'm sure you'll complain about having to pay extra for sauces or having to tip the waitress. Please, save the rest of the patrons from having to listen to you and your children whine and complain about...

Went in with 4 friends for a quick meal on a Saturday. We each got a plate and got our drinks and started eating and everything was good until one friend found a maggot in the rice. Not a tiny hard to see bug but larger than a grain of rice maggot. We tried to bring it up to the waitress when she came by as we had stopped eating and started talking about this bug at this point and she fully ignored us, like we had to have said 10 or more things to her and she literally did not acknowledge us at all. So we went to the front to talk to the male host and he said nothing and snatched the fork out of my friends hand and disappeared leaving us standing up front alone for probably 5 minutes. No one ever came back and a man who I’m assuming was the manager or owner came in furious at US for some reason. He said what probably 5 times before he let us speak and giving no mind to the fact that we found a maggot was yelling at us asking how many plates we had. I told him we hadn’t finished a plate and he said “ Well let me go see then “ and rushed over to our table and came back and yelled to tell us to get out. UPDATE WE TRIED GIVING THEM ANOTHER CHANCE BUT.... My fiancee and I literally just got yelled at for getting soup and sauce with our to-go sushi order he was so bad he made her cry. I have never been so disrespected in my life. Never told us that we could pay extra or anything. Just yelled "too much... Too much! What is this? It's too much!". He started tearing into our 2 small cause containers of spicy mayo, soy sauce/ wasabi mix to see what was in the containers. I would have been willing to pay extra for the soup, I never asked for it to be included or anything. I will NEVER SPEND MONEY HERE AGAIN. we have been regulars for 3-4 years a couole days a week and still got totally disrespected. DO NOT GO HERE!

We only eat the sushi buffet from here... NEW OWNERS OR MANAGEMENT, we used to go every day and get sushi to go. They have made it to were you have to pay menu price just to get the same tray of sushi refilled if you ask for that sushi specifically EVEN if you would have emptied the tray anyway. Also they make you pay for soup now and it used to be included with the sushi buffet.... 5 stars BEFORE NEW OWNERS/...
