I've had my eye on this location for a while as it was being built, and it was definitely worth the wait! I met the owners and most of the staff on their soft opening day, everyone was extremely friendly and happy to answer my questions.
The food was amazing! Sharing with my coworkers, we ordered a chicken shawarma combo, a fries bowl with chicken and some extra fries to pass around. The chicken was flavorful and the fries were some of the best fries I've had in a while. But the garlic sauce was my absolute favorite! An extra side of that sauce is prefect for dipping fries, or if you want to add a little extra fresh garlic flavor to any of the menu items.
We also got a chance to try some falafel. While I was dreading the usual dryness I've experienced from some other Mediterranean restaurants, I was pleasantly surprised to find this falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside with a nice fluffy inside. The sauce included was a perfect touch!
For dessert we decided to try one of the baklava boxes they had available (we couldn't resist!). The cashew and pistachio varieties were quite addicting! With the impressive packaging, I may purchase these in the future as gifts for friends and family.
Overall, everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. I would pick this over fast...
Read moreI was very excited to try this place as Shawarma is my favorite food in the world. However, it was disappointing. Nothing is authentic about the food.
Chicken shawarma wrap: the chicken was stale/old. The color of the chicken was literally dark brown. It had no flavor. The Tortilla was nothing to rave avoid. Pita bread would have been better. The garlic sauce lacked garlicky flavor.
Falafel: looked great but were hard as rock. They were old as well.
Beef bowl with rice: this is the only thing that tasted average. Nothing special, but average. The reason for 2 stars.
Not sure if we went on a bad/slow day that the food wasn't fresh at all. It will be hard to give thus place another try after...
Read moreWas craving Mediterranean food, the place wasn't too far from home, and the reviews were decent. I did not expect it to be inside Walmart, but I'm don't regret checking this place out! I ordered the chicken shwarma and falafel bites. The Chicken shwarma was moist, loved the sauce, and I wasn't expecting the pickle but it brought out a nice crunch and sour acidic touch that I really love. The falafel bite were yummy with the side of tahini. They remind me of homemade falafel bites, but don't expect to be blown away by them. They're good and worth it if you're craving falafels :d I have my eyes on the beef shwarma next time The staff were all really nice, the prices are really fair, and the food...
