Nothing personal against this location, but i took a chance and am once again disgusted by how sweet and fake my smoothie tastes. It's not health food at all. When i want a smoothie I want it made of fresh or frozen (optimally organic) fruits and vegetables, mixed with 100 percent fruit juice or almond/oat milks or coconut water, and without any preservatives like citric acid, natural flavors, or added sweeteners. Fruit is pretty sweet by itself you know, especially if there are bananas or apple juice in the mix. Both smoothie king and tropical smoothie cafe are pretty awful. If one of these chains would become legitimately healthy, or even offer a healthy section as described above, it could become the true king. stop trying to cut corners and make a buck by pumping up people with sugar and chemicals instead...
