My husband and I went there last night for the first time. The renovations they made created an elegant feel while keeping it cozy. Loved the comfy chairs and the lights on the table provided more than enough light to see. The staff was stellar! They genuinely let you know they were glad to have you there and ensured you were more than valued. Our waitress was one of the best I have had anywhere in a long time. Now the food…had I rated just it, would have lowered my review since for all the class put into the place, felt subpar. We were disappointed there was no bread service, side salads were not offered as an option with the entree, and sides themselves limited. The fried green tomatoes were very good and the chutney was a nice pairing with it. Only complaint -which is a personal preference - was it could have used more goat cheese. We ordered steaks and not seafood (which is their main attractions), so we do not wish to deter someone’s willingness to go there as the seafood looked and sounded delicious. Although the cut of meat was well seasoned, it was not a great cut and a little on the tough side. Then the side that accompanied it was ”steak frites” (i.e. fancy word for french fries) which, in our opinion, was a very poor pairing for an almost $50 steak. Now with a burger, the fries would have been amazing. One other thing they they did was incorporate edible flowers for garnishments which made for not only an eye appealing appearance, but actually tasted good. In short, would I recommend? Absolutely! I feel they definitely deserve a try especially for someone to try their seafood or want an intimate setting in which to eat or look out over the ocean when it is light outside. In time, I am confident we will try it again especially since it is fairly new and still working...

I chose Tide to Table one evening based on a recommendation from a nearby hotel. When I arrived I asked the guy at the front desk to the right of the entrance who didn't acknowledge me, I said excuse me I'm looking for the restaurant he waved me to the doors just steps away from the desk without looking up. I walked in nobody greeted me, walked towards a young fella rolling silver ware, who was the only person there, didn't acknowledge me until I finally said excuse me even though I was standing right in front of him, he then took me outside to a table, I waited for 10 minutes before a waitress brought me a menu, even though walking back and forth in front of me. She was blunt, didnt smile or greet me either once again another 10 minutes until she came back to take order (there were only a few people at the restaurant. I ordered the prime rib sandwich and fries. When the food arrived it was definitely not prime rib, it was overcooked, extremely greasy yet dry because it was burnt, and way to salty plus it looked like chopped up steak ums, there was no sauce or anything, the onions that were suppose to be on it were not on it at all. It was so bad, the fries were limp & 100% cooked in old oil. I ate half the sandwich, no fries got a box. For $22, tax, and tip it was NOT worth it. When I left, past the desk, I saw greenery, stairs and a sign Tide to Table I am wondering if there are 2 different restaurants and the man at the front desk didn't tell me or bother to ask because it was definitely not the high end meal I had been expecting or had been told by another hotel it would be. 0 Stars, waste of money, do not go, from the food to the front desk to the service was a horrible experience for my first night...

First I’d like to thank Ashley and Jordan and the entire staff for creating a memorable experience.

The restaurant is being run efficiently in every way .

The food that needed to be hot was hot. The food that needed to be cool was cool. The options on the drinks menu were many and very mindful of the clientele. They got our Food and drinks order right on the first time. Nothing needed to go back. Everything was prepared and cooked exactly as requested and the steak melted in your mouth. The fish cooked perfectly , clean tasting, the glassware, plates, silverware, were all clean , Everything was tidy

The staff moved through the restaurant stealthy and consistently, and was always on point with making sure all guests had what they needed.

TIDE TO TABLE was not just a meal. It was a culinary experience. Just look at the presentation!! We really didn’t eat - we savored the meal. We left content not over stuffed not under fed , completely satisfied , the price point was spot on!!

The presentation and the tempo of delivery of the food was perfect the combination of conversation with staff and guests in my opinion at our table and mood at sunset made it one of the most unique experiences we’ve had in Litchfield. It doesn’t even compare to any other restaurants in the area , they are in a class of their own, Here the quality and level of service is so good you feel that the entire staff works like a fine tuned machine to help you create a cherished memory, not just a meal. This is a place that has been needed for a very very long time, Cheers to getting back to creating memories. We will...
