We dined here tonight with my 2 kids and husband and I would not recommend this place. Way overpriced for the food you get. The $6 cheese dip we ordered for an appetizer was about 1/4 cup. Salsa was a cheap salsa from a jar—possibly Pace Picante’ brand. I asked for a side of rice & beans (no, you don’t get rice & beans with your entree) and they were an additional $4 EACH. The burritos my kids ordered were mostly white rice…little meat and burnt on the outside. Again, no side and costs $15. My fish tacos were ok. Husband got a chimichanga and it was ok. Altogether we spent $105 for a crappy meal that took forever to get…and I didn’t even get a margarita. We will not be back and I will be shocked if they stay in business very long.

I've been dining with these folks since they had the yellow food truck near Owen's Liquor store. I looooove Tacos and was looking for some Birria Tacos and happen to see their truck one day. . . Just know I've been getting them ever since . Even grew a relationship with thee owners; they're always so sweet, & always smiling. We also love the burritos (steak & chicken HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) , also the birria pizza . I'm so happy & proud that they now have a restaurant . I stopped in thee other day and got 6 birrias. The atmosphere is great, staff friendly, good vibes all around. Can't wait to actually dine in.

We were first timers here… Diego, his wife and staff are AMAZING!!! Definitely the best Mexican Restaurant I’ve ever eaten at (and we eat Mexican several times a week back home!) The food was sooo good, I had the Mahi tuna tacos and my wife had the steak street tacos, best food we had in Pawleys Island! He creates his own unique flavors in every dish. We went late in the evening before they closed and had a chance to talk to Diego and his wife, they made us feel like locals. Thank you for the incredible experience! We will be back my friend! See you next year!👍

If you're searching for delicious and authentic Mexican food in Pawley's Island, look no further than Taco Michoacán! This hidden gem offers a fantastic dining experience, and I highly recommend it.

One of the first things that impressed me was the fresh salsa bar. Piled high with a variety of options, it allowed me to customize my meal's spice level and flavor profile. Every salsa tasted incredibly fresh, and it was clear they use high-quality ingredients.

Speaking of quality, the portions at Taco Michoacán are generous without being overwhelming. I opted for the Asada Fries, and let me tell you, they were phenomenal! The seasoned steak was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, and the fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The portion size was perfect for a satisfying lunch.

Overall, Taco Michoacán impressed me with its fresh ingredients, great portion sizes, and delicious food. The friendly service added to the positive experience. But what truly makes this place special is that it's owned by locals dedicated to providing authentic Mexican dishes to the community. You can taste the passion and commitment to quality in every bite. If you're looking for a taste of authentic Mexico in Pawley's Island, be sure to check out...

Im on vacation and didnt want to touch my phone but I ate here 2 days in a row and have to let all you guys know just how good it is. Im sorry I cannot include pictures but like I said I'm on vacation, I left the phone in the car. Yesterday my girl and I shared the Asada fries, I got the birria tacos and she went with the Mahi tacos, we shared the app and exchanged 1 taco so we could try something new and still enjoy our favorites. I travel alot for work and I love Birria so I have a tendency to stop anywhere I see it, this place has some of the best Birria tacos Ive had in the past 2 or 3 years. The Mahi was light and moist, super fresh and perfectly cooked. Today we just had to go back because it was just so damn good. We ended up getting the same tacos but tried different apps. We got the hot garlic wings and the street corn. The corn was exceptional, better than I've had anywhere else but its not a dish I have alot of experience with. I can say I would absolutely order them again, no complaints here. The wings didnt disappoint either. I would like to thank these guys for the awesome meals and the good conversations. The bartender (Nick?) is great. I cannot recommend this...

I'm visiting the area from out of town and wanted to get a great dinner. While I do enjoy the pub/grill fare, what I really love is Mexican. I had to get something from Tacos Michoacán.

I came in a bit before typical dinner time and was immediately greeted and assisted for an order to take out. I asked the man behind the counter to pick whatever three street tacos he thought I would like (one being carnitas, my favorite) and nachos. Everyone there was kind, courteous, and I could tell they took pride in their food (as the best Mexcian restaurants do).

WOW. The street tacos were perfect. Caritas, al pastor, and honestly, I don't even know the third one but I devoured it. And the nachos! Discada style. I love that the chips are thicker than the typical tortilla chip because you don't want the chip to break under the...
