Whataburger — Restaurant in Georgetown

Terrible experience. We are local and have frequented this location over the years, but this has to be the worst service we've ever had at any Whatabuger in the state. Stopped at the drive thru on Sunday evening, May 15th around 9pm. Person (I assume the Manager-he was wearing a gray shirt, not orange) taking our order was totally incompetent. Could not understand what we wanted and kept making us repeat it. All we ordered was two chicken strips kids meals and two whatburger jrs (one meal). I think it took 5 minutes to finally get our order in. The guy in front of us drove off before getting to the window because they were taking so long. They weren't even that busy. When we finally got to the window and paid and the girl proceeded to tell us it was going to take awhile because they "had to give the cooks a break due to them not having a break all day". I said, um, ok.... The girl just stood there leaning on the window with her back towards us the entire time. Interestingly enough, my rear passenger had a perfect view of the grill and saw them cooking (not on break). They put our food in the bags and let them sit there for 5 minutes before giving them to us! Why? We ended up being short a fry and had to go inside to get it. When we got home all our food was cold, cheese wasn't even melted on the burgers. What in the world is going on here Whatabuger??? Why are employees telling customers this? Sure seems as though this was done on purpose since we saw them cooking and deliberately let our food sit there! I normally don't post reviews like this, but I emailed corporate and got no response. Not only was my good cold by the time I got it, but we waited almost an hour and a half from the time we pulled up to order to the time we got the food. I have no issues waiting for fresh food. But when the food it cold, it isn’t worth it anymore. I’ve lived in Georgetown my whole life and never had this issue at this whataburger. The lady who took our order was rude and condescending. They asked us to wait before being able to order and it took them almost 20 minutes to get back to us. I could have sat in a nice restaurant and ordered, eaten and had plates cleared in the time it took these rude employees to give us cold food. This location has gone downhill. I will not be back until I know it’s fixed, and I know enough people to know when it’s fixed. The only reason this location is still open, is because Georgetown has 2 places that are 24 hrs. my friends and I had came to this wataburger after havig a great day, and everyone knows wataburger is a place most teens choose to eat at. well we ordered our food and we were just laughing about old memories, having a good time just ready to eat.. we finally got our food and one of my friends accidentally droped a couple of fries because his tray flipped and before he had anytime to pick them up the manager came and started yelling at us for no reason at all.. he told us if were just here to make a mess we can just leave.. like? we are human.. we are allowed to laugh, im sorry that he hates his life or somthing.. or just not having a good day.. but he just judged us on our presence, he could have came up to my friend and say “hey man can you pick up your mess” insted of trying to kick us out and being very rude. After that he went up to all the other tables asking them how everything was and being nice and never bothered to ask us how everything was.
