I am honestly pretty disappointed. I live in southwest Austin and was in Georgetown for an appointment (which I practically am never down this way), so we stopped by since I’ve been following the place on TikTok for a long time. I didn’t look to see if they were open because it is noon (which is my fault, granted), and I assumed they would be. We came up, rang the door bell, and the lady came to the front to just say “Hey guys, I’m closed until 1.” She smiled at us, but it didn’t feel warm or like she cared. It felt sarcastic/she was trying to get us to hurry and leave so she can finish opening. My husband and I looked at each other because we were a little confused since we’d assume it’d be open and said “okay..”, and that’s when she just said “Sorry guys.” We turned to leave, she shut her window, and that was that. I understand this is a small business and they can’t be open all of the time, but with it being a small business, you are your own boss. At least genuinely apologize and make the customer feel welcomed even though you may not be able to serve them right then and there. I didn’t feel like with that first impression that the lady really cared if I returned or not, so I don’t know if I will be.
To the owner, it isn’t worth arguing with me about this incident either. I understand small businesses require more work, but you don’t have to have a big corporation in order to provide adequate customer service. It takes no energy either. Read moreWe ordered 3 items and once we were given the total we were shocked at how much the total was $27. After adding the two items off the menu it came out to $14. Our third was the flamano rita posted as a special on the sign with no price. So we asked how much is the flamingo Rita was and they said $14 so we said we wanted to change it. They said sorry no we can't do that we already started making it. We never pulled away from the box and it was less than 30 seconds after ordering it. I'm not paying $6 more for tajin in my drink. They refused to let us change it. I'm disappointed because this is my second time here and I enjoy the product however the the workers need more training.
Edit after owners reply: First of all if you don't want this happing it would be helpful to just post the price of all your items. You clearly don't want people to know how much it is so you can stick them with it. Second you weren't even there so how would you know it was finished. You said it yourself it takes 2+ minutes to make. We were given the total and right after asked if we could change it. So more like less than 30 seconds. Whatever the girls name is that worked on September 1st 2024 at 8:25pm that answered the phone for a refund because we feel disgusting have had even trying the drinks does NOT need to work in food service or anywhere else until she gets better training involving customer service. Owner definitely has some terrible apples in the bunch, was told that I was wrong for not having the same taste buds as everyone else and was told the alcohol drinks made at 11am were fresh enough for everyone else so why would I be calling. Don't waste time here, this place is a complete joke. Would take pics of the stuff but it's already in the trash.
