Me Land Georgetown — Attraction in Georgetown

I wanted to give this business the benefit of the doubt since it’s newly opened, but my recent experience left me disappointed and frustrated.

Shortly after 10 AM (when they open), I took my son to use the restroom and was shocked at how filthy it was—dried urine and even feces on the seat. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I let two staff members know, and while they seemed surprised and claimed it had been checked earlier, nothing was done about it. I returned later and the bathroom was still in the same disgusting condition. I’ve attached photos to show exactly what I saw.

To make matters worse, I felt completely dismissed by the staff—as if what I was saying couldn’t possibly be true. That kind of response, especially when it comes to sanitation, is unacceptable.

Also worth noting: for the high cost of admission, I would expect the facility to be immaculate. With the amount of income likely coming in daily, there should be more than enough resources to maintain a clean and sanitary environment—and to staff accordingly to support that.

One more small but important detail: it would go a long way if staff offered to help parents put wristbands on their children. Trying to do it yourself while managing kids isn’t easy. A simple offer to assist would show care and attentiveness. Just handing them off with no help feels lazy.

Cleanliness and customer care—especially in a space meant for families—should be top priorities. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because as it stands, I wouldn’t...

"Terrible Birthday Party Experience – Avoid This Place"

I would strongly advise against hosting a birthday party at Me Land Georgetown. From start to finish, the experience was frustrating and disappointing.The front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. We were told when booking that the party was 2 hours, so we assumed the kids could play for 2 hours. Upon arrival, we were told it was actually 1 hour of play and 1 hour in the party room — something I’ve never experienced anywhere else.We cut the cake in about 30 minutes, but then were told we had to leave 15 minutes early so they could “clean.” On top of that, they only provided plates and cutlery for the main party kids. What about the parents accompanying them — are they supposed to eat with their hands?

Another annoyance — they called beforehand to say kids needed socks. Fine. But when we arrived, they said everyone, including parents, had to wear socks. This just feels like another way to squeeze extra money from guests at the last minute.

When I mentioned I would be leaving a bad review, the staff simply said, “Go ahead and write it,” which shows they don’t care at all about customer experience.

There are plenty of other venues that actually value their customers and offer a much better experience for the money you pay. Please save yourself the trouble, stress, and last-minute errands, and choose somewhere else.

And no, a standard “We’re sorry” response from management will not make up for the poor experience or...

Price was Okay for one adult and child $16.99 and it includes one adult. It didn’t feel as clean and I would have thought, maybe they can close down in between the day to try and clean, while I was their not even 5 minutes after arriving my child went directly to the ball pit and complained the bottom of his socks and arms were wet I asked him what happened he said someone had water but I actually could smell pee on his socks and arms it wasn’t pleasing at all (someone had a accident and didn’t bother to tell the staff so I had to do so) Not even 20 minutes later they reopened ball pit area after cleaning but would like to see it cleaned maybe in the middle of the day (close down) for an hour or so etc. I’m always hesitant on going to places like this because of the over all cleanliness and then this happens as well as my son was perfectly fine prior to arrival I have pictures of him playing there before and after just fine and not even an hour of us being there and leaving he broke out with a blister on outer lip line. I’m assuming someone probably took their child with open blisters to the ball pit area because that was the only area he was all over the balls and jumping in and of course now my child has that (he is 4 and has never had something like this on his lips) PARENTS please be Mindful and do better stay home if your child is sick and or still getting over any infections.
