American Deli — Restaurant in Georgia

I’ve eaten at several other American Deli’s and never had a problem. Order the same thing every time I go. I will never come back to this location. Ordered online for pickup and when I came in to get my food, the staff was sitting down behind the counter, music blaring. No greeting, they just stood up and looked at me. Got my food and left. I only live 12 minutes from this location and while my food was still hot, the tilapia was drier than the Sahara and the fried rice was burnt. One tartar sauce for six pieces of fish. Called to let the store know and request that they fix my meal since it was inedible and a woman named “Sean/Shawn” said that was the cook’s fault and they’d have to call doordash since I ordered online. She was rude, said her manager was washing dishes and couldn’t be bothered to come to the phone. She wouldn’t give us the number for doordash and couldn’t or wouldn’t give us their store number. If you want American Deli, go to another location because this one is absolutely terrible...

At approximately 5 p.m. this afternoon, I went through the AMERICAN DELI drive-thru to order food, but no one spoke on the speaker.

So, I parked my car and went into the fast-food restaurant, and the cashier lady employee was about to take my order, the cook was giving me threatening looks for no reason.

While his co-workers were rubbing his chest to calm him down.

To control my anger, I told the nice cashier that I was good and I won't be ordering food from here.

She was concerned as to "why?" I said I don't appreciate co-workers giving me threatening looks. And I was afraid of what he will do to my food.

I said to her "Being Prejudice Is Not Going To Get You Nowhere"! Then I left. I was so hungry and disappointed at the same time.

If a person can't separate your hatred for others, then don't work for public service. The cashier was nice.

I have been an American Deli fan since I can remember so the disappointment was real. I like my wings extra crispy but the wings I got were impossible to bite they were one with the bone almost, like they were already cooked previously and refried over twice. I ordered my meal with fried shrimp fried rice and it smelled spoiled like it was going bad, and a funny after taste. The staff however friendly we’re eating playing around all over the restaurant and just exhibiting very unprofessional behavior. My son said his wings were okay, but not good and he said we should have gone to a place he suggested. I convinced him that we should come here instead just reminiscing on how good the food at American Deli normally is.
