The owner here is quite the Vile person, an Indian woman who also refuses to give her name, even if the matter is positive. It became a negative to her during my stay.
For 3 years, they left their elevator's certification expired and only recently got it renewed. As if that's preventing the machine from shaking, shifting, and banging hard on its own track system. Whoever approved that elevator is likely close to the owner, as any sane person would deem that elevator as unfit, especially if they're an engineer. As per the manager, she will say otherwise, no matter if she's correct or not, with excessive ignorance.
Now that's not bad enough. Seeing these reviews, they do have a bit of truth to them, unlike the responses. The basic concerns, such as drugs, suspicious people, arbitrary fines, damaged rooms, and unsanitary conditions. Are as follows.
My week stay here, had me getting a fine for a Child, which wasn't mine. This was also, given to me, quite loudly as the employee banged on my door quite aggressively, at 12pm in the night, while i slept. The owner refused to accept my explanation that i do not have a kid, and I never will due to medical complications that embarrassed me. She said there is nothing she can do about it. This is quite literally extortion. Not that I'm surprised, as she drove a Ferrari to work. I see she makes her personal profits through fabricated fines. This is true, no matter her excuses or paid 5 star reviews. It's gross negligence.
I don't even need to go into detail about the drug activity here. You can easily smell it by walking around.
Quite a few bad actors have been seen loitering. One such incident involved a 10 year old little girl, being jumped by a 10 year old boy, and his friends who live in the complex nearby. Completely unprovoked is what most of the locals said. No one was arrested, but the little girl's family, who were the victims, were removed and trespassed, says their neighbor, and an employee.
The rooms are hit or miss. Few blemishes, lots of broken things here and there, such as doors or windows not locking. Furthermore, I and Few others have been locked out of our rooms due to either the batteries in the locking mechanism dying or the lock system being busted. I spent 8 hours, after work, in the heat. Not pleasant. Several other tenants have stayed in certain rooms, which had mold in them. That's yet another crime here, as if it wasn't commplace to be negligent. Don't even get me started on the many firings here either. I have seen someone new in the office every day.
There are other issues going on as well. Such as random people illegally dumping their trash in the dumpsters. An old man was jumped by people in the woods and robbed. The employees inspect your room weekly, regardless if you're present or busy. They will enter your room, even if you're stark naked. Aside from such invasive inspections. I've already filed a police report regarding a sentimental gold pocket watch I had with me for support. After I left for the local kroger, which was a short drive, I returned to my room 20 minutes later to find my door left open. I find that several common items were missing, besides that watch. Such as food, clothes, etc. Even though it's worth a lot more than the owner, I don't care for the price. It's a memento, and I want it back. The owner refused to provide me with any assistance, let alone the CCTV footage directly facing my door without police present. Considering her employees, not just one, have said that if police are called here 3 times, you get kicked out, I felt as if I was being manipulated into my first "strike" as they already had it out with me during the false fine, I was forced to pay.
I was furious. I couldn't take this blatant abuse for much longer. I called my boss and asked if I could take a pay cut to transfer hotels. He attempted to be cordial with them, and they copped an attitude. So he canceled, me and my 3 coworkers week stay, for free, thankfully.
We will not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCancelled my room after about a few days. I was already perturbed by Inspections, but the woman who inspected our room not even a day after we settled in was absolutely frustrated with something as her Aggression, and Obtuse behavior was appaling. It was a Mixed Woman, Afro for a Hairstyle, very short, and skinny. She wasn't just extremely picky, she was plainly absurd. I left paper towels near my Stove, which isn't on, and also has a Timer Pilot light. so not only does it require 2 Knobs to function, she felt the need to Order me to remove them, then demanded other things like she was my Mother, about to get the belt.
She also told me to remove my Trash, which was barely filled. She told me to clean my dishes, as I had a single clean plate on my counter getting ready to be used. Said it smelled funny in my room, as I have 2 different Airwicks installed.
I had to thoroughly clean the Room myself, as No one cleaned it prior. Dirt on the floor, Dust all inside the AC unit, trash under the beds, Water all over the Bathroom, the Shower was the worst, and smelled terrible. We had to bleach the entire thing! Even then I felt nauseous cleaning it.
Back onto this Staff member, she Tried to Cop an attitude when I explained everything to her. Fast forward to about, 11:PM. We see a black male, heavily dressed walk upto out door. My Husband answers it, wondering why was he lingering for so long.
The man runs away as fast as possible. Turns out, he was security. We were given a $140 fine, because our room was "Dirty, and Smelled fowl" So I cancelled our stay the very next morning, couldn't receive a refund, laughed, and left.
We went to a nearby indoor Hotel, paid a little more, and had a wonderful time at the other location.
Whoever that woman is, if she's always going to put her frustrations out on the wrong tenant, and fine them for somebody extremely petty due to her emotions... Good luck handling the person who would...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is a crap hole in the wall motel - I can't believe Werner would place employees and potential employees here - beds are horrible - - dirty - can you say what looks like pubic hair on the sheets and blood on the sheets and comforter- spider webs hanging from the ceiling - stinky mildew or strong old urine like smell- imprint of red lips on the window , screen broken, diet on the walls, flor looks like it has never been swept or mopped or wiped down - kitchenettes really how do figure when there is no pot or pan to cook with? Freezer over iced - roach/any bait out and visible - coffee spills, down cabinets, paint or some blue color spill - just overall dirty. Bed was horrible - flat pillows - dim lighting outlets don't work, TV is an old box style and the picture is cut off on each side - curved like - lines running through all channels like cable is bad (144. Moved rooms from 140 to 144 - still had issues with 144 but it was much cleaner than the previous room - it too was missing the pots and pans and an alarm clock and coffee pot. Still super flat pillows. Complained for two days before I was able to talk with LaShon D who is the front desk manager and then things started to happen and she apologized for the attitude from the employees to the condition of the room but I have to ask Corporate does it really need to go this far before you take better care of your property? It is time to take out the trash and fix up the rooms and hold people responsible for doing their jobs and hold guest responsible for the condition of the rooms or when they steal things - don't subject future guests to this type of stuff and Werner take a look at where your putting people and if your people are the problem hold them responsible as well - I know you can. The pictures I am uploading are the real picture of the rooms not the fluffy ones posted on here by management. I really could add many more...
