Update: Considering they shut down their Google reviews, I've had to use my old review to update my experience.
This Kroger isn't good.
• Expired food. • You have to pre order Deli orders 48 hours prior. • Employees argue amongst each other over who does what job. They fear to keep their job. • Roaches in the Produce section. • Half the employees are talking like it's high school, while a single employee works the Deli's 3 sections. The bakery, cold cut deli, and hot foods section are all run by a single person. That's a labor nightmare. • You can't find a basket, as they keep them near the front office. People steal the shopping carts anyway, leaving them on the road. • Pharmacy finally fired an African man, who screamed at 7 people in line, including myself, claiming we were all "Drug addict bums" and that "Kroger doesn't fill Narcotics" he said that to a pregnant woman, felt sick and disturbed, as that's who they hire here. • had an altercation with the manager over a product I put back on the shelf. She claimed I stole it. I showed her the receipt, and she stormed off. Tall black man who was security looked at it himself, saw no issues, and even called her "Whacked". I showed him where the item I put back was, and he thanked me with no further issues. Aggressive managers can't run a business, though. • Delivery is non-existent, as I tried to order $50 worth, but I didn't even get refunded. At least Walmart refunds me. • They refuse to take any form of NFC payment. Tried to use their Kroger Pay method, and it refused to authorize. • Money services, or rather customer services, will take at least 30 minutes before you get what you want done. • Police are always here on a normal occurrence due to either false reports made by "select" employees or thefts. Genuinely speaking, It's not even worth stealing from this store. • Saw a young boy, about 16, Steal Vaseline.... unfortunately, I was waiting in line behind him, as he put it on near a private area because he was bending over, and walked out with it. I had to walk to another register as I was sickened by that. • They often don't have half a gallon of milk in stock. • Employees are being paid extra to review this page with 5 stars to combat their poor reputation.
I'll update this review with photos in the next coming weeks, that's if they don't completely close...
Read moreTo all Kroger customers shopping at the Thornton Rd, (Westfork) Lithia Springs GA location. READ and PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to the EXPIRATION DATES on the food. This is the worst location representing expired foods. Many of its dairy products are always expired. (Yogurt, cream cheese, OJ, etc). The craziest experience this past Monday was being back to back with another customer shopping for the same item (cream cheese) and speaking out loud the same exact thing I’m posting about. Expiration dates! I posted previously about the expired tortillas where almost the entire shelf was expired and out dated by months, not days or weeks, but months. I personally wrote Kroger about that particular situation. This particular Kroger needs an entire overhaul in everything from food inspection, to cleanliness of the bathrooms, to the tidiness of the entire store which always looks like a house that needs maid service. The store is very tacky in appearance and if customer service isn’t closed the reps are slow and talk too much. It’s the closest store to my home but I’m now using extra time to shop at another location in the next city over. This is a ridiculous (constant) customer service experience and I wish Kroger corporate does something to fix all its issues! Expired food contributes to food borne illnesses and the safety of the health of its customers is at risk, so be very careful to read the expiration dates on anything you purchase from this store...
Read morethis kroger i can take it or leave it as they are like the future of grocery stores are gonna be like when they are staffed with all drones. this location is less than a mile from my home but 98 percent of the time i choose to go the the kroger that is about 5 miles away because that store is nice and happy associates. this kroger has a terrible parking lot with the drive isle of arriving and exiting customer come speeding by as you try to walk (In a crosswalk) to your vehicle. its dangerous not doubt. also bring a cart in with you as 4 out of 5 visits the carts are all stored out in the cart corrals in the lot or some of the carts are returning to the store through the use of wind power so you gotta dodge the carts and the drivers in cars. and finally the self scan lanes are my absolute favorite thing in the world. the machine always "CALLS ATTENDANT" but the person working the self scan is well pverworked as there is no way she can play on her phone, complain about her schedule and wander to the cash service booth at farthest away from the self scan to assist the employee there with her issues and still be able to do all while walking slower than a sloth(safety first when walking and texting) and still does not come over to set the terminal free to accept my money. all in all i choose elsewhere but will go here if...
