Complete Catastrophe – Avoid at All Costs
This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. I stopped in to grab breakfast for my staff—eight simple orders—and the chaos started the moment I stepped in line. The poor girl at the register clearly had zero training. She didn’t even know how to modify a biscuit with egg and cheese. That seemingly simple task required backup, and not the fast kind—it took minutes just to get someone over to help.
Things spiraled downward fast. The manager on duty wasn’t just loud—she was flat-out screaming at the teenage staff. Not directing, not managing—screaming. Think full-volume verbal assaults, like a drill sergeant gone rogue. These kids looked terrified, and no wonder. The atmosphere was so tense, it felt like a pressure cooker about to explode.
Despite all that chaos, I still foolishly hoped the order would be right. It wasn't. Not even close. Multiple items were wrong, and we had to go through a clunky, painful refund process that pushed my total over $60. Once we somehow fixed the mess at the register, I moved to the pickup area—only to be handed one bag containing half my order. I had to show my receipt and stand there while they tried to Frankenstein the rest of it together, one missing item at a time.
Forty-five minutes later, I finally walked out with the full order, stunned that I’d even made it through the experience. The level of disorganization was mind-blowing. But worse than that? The toxic environment. Those poor kids deserve better than to be screamed at in front of customers, and the customers deserve better than to be caught in the crossfire.
Bottom line: skip this place entirely. Go anywhere else—literally anywhere. A gas station. A vending machine. A granola bar from your glove compartment. All of those are better options than subjecting yourself to the dysfunction, disarray, and disrespect on...
Read moreHoly cow what happened to this place?? The food has always been good when you can get it and the order is right! One night I went by after work. It was 9:19 p.m. If I could've gotten there sooner I would have. This young male voice over the speaker, after telling me to give him "a moment", about 10 minutes later asked for my order. I got 3 bacon, egg, & cheese biscuits & 1 country ham out of my mouth & he cut me off to tell me it'd be a 25 minute wait. I figured he was exaggerating & said I'd wait, to which he "reminded" me they close at 10. I said, laughing, "well I'll get my biscuits before closing, right?"... to which he actually had the gall to say HE CAN'T GUARANTEE IT! So he'd take my money, let me wait 25 minutes, and THEN TELL ME HE COULDN'T GIVE ME MY FOOD?? What a crock of crap! I couldn't get him to even reply to me after that so I left. I went back the next night, which I shouldn't have after that ridiculousness... hoping it was a one-time thing... and though the guy there that night was very polite, it took me 45 minutes to get 3 bacon, egg, & cheese biscuits, a country ham biscuit, buttered biscuit, & 2 orders of bo rounds. He gave me 2 free pies for the wait with what seemed to be sincere apologies, but in light of that coupled with my previous nights experience with the incompetent young man who obviously was trying to run me off lest he have to work any harder, & succeeded... but he succeeded in running me off PERMANENTLY... because I will NOT be going back. Except for the guy there on my last night who was likely a manager, none of them seem to care. It's this younger generation with no work ethic and places like Bojangles with no standards in who they hire. I predict that location will be shut down in less than a year. And...
Read moreI just left this location and the lack of professionalism needs to be addressed. First, I was being lied to by one of the male employees stating that the grill was down to make the"pork chops" biscuits. I repeated what he said because I couldn't believe what I heard. Then I asked, what is being served? Then I heard someone in the background saying something. The male employee corrected his initial statement and said, " Oh, the grill is up and we have pork chops. I asked, " what about the biscuits?" He said, yes biscuits too. Then a female intervene and took my order. I knew I was being lied to because when I drove in, they were cleaning and vacuuming ; didn't want to turn the grill back on. What makes matters worse, their friends were in the car ahead of me and they were in the window talking and playing around with them for twenty minutes or more; they are blasting the music, hanging out of the car shouting out what they wanted the female employee to bring them. The customers behind me started leaving; I wanted to leave but my poor dad wanted this to eat. I was so angry on how unprofessional and discurtious they were before they asked them to pull forward until their order was ready.
I hope I Never have to visit this...
