Pleasantly surprised---REVISED Nice very upscale food.. What Conyers has been missing.. We need more restaurants like this. The food was excellent and so was the service. The salmon sliders appetizer were tasty and three decent size portions enough to share. The jerk lamb chops were also a good portion and very good. The surprised of the night was the blueberry lemon bread pudding and the sweet potato cheesecake both outstanding.
Recommendation 1--- Additional training for the hostess...After dinner, while writing on our waitress to return, we were asked again if we had reservations and of course the answer was yes. In a somewhat offensive tone, the hostess then responded because of the table turnover time allotment that we would have to move. In my opinion the conversation should have gone...if you are planning to stay for the live entertainment I am going to have to relocate you to another seating location. This different language is less offensive and less about table turn over and bring rushed to move and more about customer service to meet both of our requirements of the guest and establishment.
Recommendation 2---Disclosure of the automatic 20% fee/charge. To ensure that this was the gratuity I asked and was told that everyone ask about this fee/charge. It's not for the wait staff its for the establishment. This was new to me but I have not gone out since COVID stated. Not sure what the purpose is, but I'm going to assume it's for entertainment. To decrease confusion about the 20% fee/charge explanation should be added as standard statement on the menu then its upfront and not a hidden charge.
COVID protocols---none of the staff were wearing mask. The restaurant could have a vaccination requirement that mandates all staff be vaccinated, but there was no signage regarding mask or vaccinations of staff to assure the public's safety. Although there is not a State mask mandated, CDC's federal recommendation is that when in doors vaccinated and unvaccined wear a mask. We were there early so there was ample distance between the seated guest but the restaurant was filling up quickly.
The music was great and the entertainment appeared promising. The unusual low table seating is less conducive for eating dinner and more for quick bites while have a cocktail and enjoying music or live entertainment. The restaurant has a lounge and sexy atmosphere.

Read moreGirls Night. The atmosphere was great! The food was good. I ordered Grilled Lobster w/ Fried shrimp... it came with broccoli and mashed potatoes and I ordered the mac and cheese. I also ordered a side salad that didn't come out until I was finished eating... even though the server put a "rush" on it when she realized I didn't get it before my entree. The broccoli was cold and they bought out grilled shrimp instead of fried shrimp. The broccoli was seasoned nicely... The mac and cheese was yummy... lovely crust and cheesy. The lobster was on the smedium side. The flavors were all good. The servers were friendly but for some reason out service was delayed... Apparently no one knew who was supposed to have our table. I had to ask for water multiple times from multiple people while the table next to use seemed to be receiving pitcher after pitcher before I got one glass. One of the servers looked me in the eye and said "I'm going to get your water" and proceeded to walk beyond several times never to look at me again and never bought the water... I ordered a Strawbery Bliss cocktail and it was literally one of the best drinks I'd ever had... My friend ordered one and by the time she got it... there were 4 tiny pieces of ice floating on the top and it tasted and looked completely different then the one I had, it was not good... when we asked about it the lady said the bartenders all use their own recipes... I decided against ordering another for myself as no one knew what I was actually going to get. This night Frank Ski Dj'd and he was amazing as always. The sound was a really good quality and I could vibe out AND have a conversation with girlfriend. A lot of places the sound is super loud AND distorted making it impossible to have a conversation and difficult to enjoy... The Reserve definitely has a great handle on the acoustics. The hookah was great... nice and smooth. They have a humidor... Very cool... little bit of a run around getting cigars... but once you get them they cut and light them for you... I'd like to go back, maybe to the bar to see if the service will be more attentive and detail oriented. I like the vibe and the food... but I'll probably visit other spots with better reviews before I come back... Unless they bring Frank back... I'll deal with...
Read moreCame here on a Friday evening as my friend wanted to try a different spot. Ended up being surprised right off the bat that it was in a strip mall and when we walked up, there was a security guard to pat us down before we could go inside. Once inside, it gave more of a lounge vibe than a restaurant. There were just a few traditional tables and mostly soft seating with low tables. Since we did not have a reservation, we were advised to sit at the bar, which is pretty large and we were fine with that because I definitely was not trying to eat at one of those low lounge tables. The ambience was laid back. The music wasn't too loud, but it did have vulgar lyrics. When looking at the menu, I was a little surprised at how high the prices were. Crystal, the bartender, is truly the GOAT at this place. They were short staffed and she was ripping and running through that bar, making drinks, placing food orders, answering a million questions (I was asking a lot of them), and was VERY pleasant the entire time. I wasn't in the mood for a cocktail, but she whipped up a strawberry lemonade that was one of the best I've ever had. My friend had a long island iced tea and let's just say it wasn't weak by any means.
As far as the food, Crystal gave some good suggestions and I landed on the salmon. At first I was told that they couldnt do substitutions, but none of the combos had all the things I liked, so she ended up just asking me what would I ultimately want and she made it happen.
Food didn't take long to come and it was pretty good. The mashed potatoes were good, but the broccolini was chewy and I couldn't eat that at all. My friend had fish with the kale greens and mac & cheese. It was a new experience to try kale greens instead of collard greens, and they were surprisingly good. For dessert, we had the banana pudding and it came in these plastic jars. It was good, but not great. As we were leaving, it looked like a DJ was setting up so I'm sure it was going to be a lot louder.
This was an unexpected type of place to find in suburban Conyers, and overall, it was a different experience. If you are looking for classy, this won't be it, but if you want laid back and chill, this could...
