I love capriotti’s. LOVE. After several years of trying to survive without Caps while living in Texas, I moved to Georgia and was thrilled to see a location in Kennesaw.
However, after several experiences “trying” to order a sandwich from here, I am truly astonished that this place is still open or hasn’t been shut down by corporate.
As many other reviewers mentioned, this location has reduced its weekly hours and restricted ordering to online. Despite every other establishment in the huge strip mall being open regularly, this place has not.
Well ok, maybe it is singularly impossible for this one place to find employees. I’d go to war for a Caps cheesesteak, so I’ll play by their rules.
“Online ordering only”. Ok fine. But wait, ordering from this location through the Capriottis app is “temporarily unavailable”. For the record, I’ve checked on at least 6 separate days, and it’s never, ever available. Go try right now - please!
“Order online through Google”. Ok fine. But wait, if you don’t choose DoorDash, you are prompted to call the store. Ok fine. But wait, “the Google subscriber you are calling us not accepting phone calls”. Please try calling this store right now. I’ve similarly tried calling on 6 separate occasions at different times and days. Their phone is not on. No wonder the manager that responds to these reviews always says to call the store - THEY DONT HAVE AN OPERATING PHONE LINE LOL.
So, can’t go in to order from Tuesday to Thursday, but cant order online or by the phone either.
Please check the Capriotti’s app, or ordering online, or calling the store right now! Do it!
So, out of maybe 10 serious attempts to actually get a sandwich here, I was finally successful on a Saturday afternoon. Sandwich was amazing.
I’ve never written a negative review, but this place is actively wasting peoples time and money. What a disgrace to the...
Read moreThe employees here are completely ignorant, ill-mannered, malevolent subhumans. Second time these people have treated me rudely and with disregard. This place has lost my business for good this time. Completely unprofessional. Your employee just stood in front of my daughter and I and threw our food into the garbage after ignoring us at the door. The employee called me and confirmed our order, I was a couple minutes late picking it up. I'd think if they could've at least had the decency to inform me on the call that they would not give my child and I our food if we showed up after 9. They couldn't even communicate to us while we were standing right there. It's a good thing I don't let experiences like this prevent me from being kind to humans, sick or hungry. How many times have they walked into my pharmacy after closing and I was kind enough to give them their medications. These ppl couldn't even hand us our food or acknowledge our presence aside from dancing with their head phones on then throwing our food away and laughing. The human condition is truly a sad state. Last time they were over an hour late making our food and not one apology. No explanation. Didn't even tell me it wasn't ready yet when I arrived. I had to sit and wait 45 minutes while they made it with 4 employees and one table and nothing else going on and it ended up being the wrong order. It's a shame. Just moved here. We were excited about vegetarian sandwiches. Never again. No response from my email from the previous incident. Should've known better than...
Read moreVisited the Kennesaw location on February 4th and ordered 3 sandwiches. After paying and waiting a few minutes for my sandwiches I was told they didn't have the ingredients to make one of the sandwiches. I requested a refund the gentleman went to the register in attempt, I believed to process my refund and came back and said he was unable to complete the refund. He asked me to write my card number down so the manager could process the refund the next day. I refused to write my card number down because that is a major risk. I gave him my phone number and was told the manager would contact me the next day. No call, I had to reach out to the store myself 2 days later. I was told then by the manager she would have to refund the entire amount since I refused to provide my card number. The refund was supposed to take 3-5 business days. Long story short today is March 21st and after several calls, and an email, I still have not received my refund. All I asked for was the refund for the sandwich I didn't receive, about $10. I wonder how many other people have had such an issue getting a refund? I will say about 2 weeks ago I was offered a gift card while the manager continued to "work" on my refund. How much work needs to be done for a $10 refund. Seems like some deceptive business practices to me. This may be a small amount to others but it's my money. Last visit to capriotti's for me. And oh, don't worry about the refund now, I've disputed the transaction...
