I recently (1/6/25- picked up at 6:20ish pm) had a terrible experience here at the kennesaw location. Man, heavy set Caucasian male, may be the manager. I asked for him to remake my drink because I had coffee grounds in my drink and I’ve had this before from this same location (1 other time) and I’ve called them about it expressing my same concerns about never having the coffee grounds in it before and they said that they may have made it a way where it was the bottom of the batch, something to that effect (I just know since coming to this location for the last couple of months, I’ve never had that happen) the young man I spoke to on the phone ended up saying that they would give me $1 off next time I come in. I don’t really care about getting money off my coffee I care about not swallowing coffee grounds. I have never had coffee grounds in my blended frozen drink and I don’t want to start accepting that that’s just how it is. So when I came back to the drive thru requesting to have my drink remade, I heard in his voice the irritation that he has to remake my drink, so I’m already knowing he has a problem with remaking my drink. Know I’m not thinking that it would be a problem as I’m not asking for my money back. I just want the drink remade where I’m not having to take the coffee grounds out of my mouth everytime I sip my drink (just annoying). The man comes to the window and says how “I’ve remade the drink this time, but this is just how the drink is made”, basically said that he wasn’t going to make my drink again if I get coffee grounds in it because it’s just how it is. I said okay, and told him how I never had it like this before. He ended up just stating again how it’s made that way and while we are talking he immediately gives me the drink and begins shutting the drive thru window on me while I was still speaking which is very rude, if it wasn’t for the young lady who was there that asked what I had said, he wouldn’t have reopened the window. He was very rude and acted like he didn’t want to remake my drink from the beginning. I offered to give the other drink back as I did not want it and he said no… it wasn’t even 10 mins when I had left the drive thru window before I came back requesting to have my drink remade. He doesn’t need to be in customer service if a customer states that they have never had the coffee grounds in their drink and doesn’t want to drink it, it should be respected as opposed to what he did, he basically said just deal with it because there will be coffee grounds in it. I’ve never had any frozen coffee drink that had coffee grounds in it and I’m not going to start now. Now he is a man and I don’t understand why he thought it was a good idea to give me attitude for requesting something to be remade then proceeding to be rude. Does this grown man treat his mother like this?? Because the way he was rude to me makes me wonder or is it because I’m black?? I didn’t want to think that it’s because I’m black but let’s be honest, would he have treated his people the same way?? Maybe it’s because of my name, maybe he has preconceived notions that because my name is ZaQuetta that I’m automatically a certain way. Either way it is unacceptable behavior. Racism is very much so still here in this country don’t care which way you try to slice it or dice it.

I really don’t understand how someone who states that they are dissatisfied with a beverage that they have been getting for months states that they don’t want to drink it with coffee grounds in it and employee/manager/owner (whatever title the man holds within this company) can just be mad at simply serving a paying customer. Your company will lose business when you have people who work on your behalf with this type of attitude towards customers. He never know who he is in the presence of and should act accordingly, treat people with respect regardless if you don’t feel like doing your job. He could have told me no he’s not remaking it and I probably would have requested for my money to be refunded. He gave POOR customer...

I usually go to this store and I have never had an issue. On October 19, 2024 I went during the morning hours to have my birthday breakfast. As soon as we came into the store the first thing we were advised that the Turtle Mocha cold would take a little longer as they ran out of caramel and they had to grab a new caramel from the back. We were okay with that. They call us to pick our two lumberjack sanwiches and the first thing we were told was we better move quick as other customers were taking other peoples food. Which can be avoided if the orders were called by name, but by the name of the product. We grabbed our sandwiches and proceed to eat the whole thing. After 15 minutes they aclled the Turtle Mocha, it was served hot and I proceed to tell her that the mocha is supposed to be cold. The barista looked at me and did not even acknowldge it, she just ignored it. I stood there for another couples of minutes and the barista asks me with an attitude: what do you want? I proceed to tell her that I was missing the other mocha hot. She kept asking me to repeat my order again and after doing so she handed me the other mocha on a bad attitude. It was the worst experience that I have had on this location, it almost made me want to cry because of the frustration if startimg my birthday being treated so poorly. It was clear that theres was tension, and they were overwhelmed, but the customer service was incredibly lacking and left me with a...

When they first opened and I would get cold brew with a splash of heavy cream, it was very smooth. But I've noticed that a splash of heavy cream could mean something different to everybody there and there's no specific measurement for that. So some days I have more cream and some days I have less cream. There's no standard for them to go by to let you know how much cream you're actually going to get when you order cream. It's just whatever the person feels like a splash is.

Also the cold brew used to be very smooth and now it doesn't seem as smooth. It seems more bitter. Not sure if the people that are making it now are different than the people that were making it when they opened or if they're just rushing the process or something but it's definitely not as smooth. May have to end up going back to the dunk kings.

Plus there's almost always an issue with their parking lot. Either not enough parking or today the delivery guy was making a delivery and pretty much blocking the whole area where you drive to go to the drive-thru. Not sure they chose the best...

Came for just a bagel and cream cheese, never been to a caribou before, paid almost $5 for just the bagel and spread, opened up my bag to spread the cream cheese out onto the bagels, there was barely enough spread to get on one half of a bagel. Went inside and kindly explained the situation and they said I would have to buy more spread, these were not pre sealed spread pouches, these were filled in store by hand. For a $5 bagel and spread I would expect to be able to get as much spread as I wanted, any bagel shop worth its weight doesn’t nickel and dime the spread. These practices do not gain loyalty or acquire new customers, in fact, in my case, I won’t ever shop at a Caribou coffee again , they are the same price as a Starbucks and half the quality.

I love caribou and was excited to have one in kennesaw after most of the Atlanta and Woodstock location closed many years ago. I worked for Caribou and I’m very familiar with making hand crafted beverages. The drinks are still great, however the service is lacking. It’s a struggle to get drinks made to the specifications you ask for especially when they are “hand crafted”. A cold press with light ice should be made as such, yet here I have a drink full of ice. For another beverage, I asked for a shaken espresso drink with no ice since I’d be delivering it to a friend hours later and was told it couldn’t be done. Could it not be stirred instead? Could you just scoop the ice out with the utensils at the espresso bar? It’s not rocket science.
