I came on Aug 23rd with my mom and brother to get a car. I wanted to look at the 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport I saw online. The process wasnât the best.
We spent over 30 minutes waiting for the cars (my brother came to look at a KIA before going to KIA to look) to be pulled up as someone hid the keys for the Hyundai because they wanted the vehicle.
We had to go look at the cars at KIA, and had already been there for over an hour and hadnât got to look at the 2 out of 3 cars requested, so we left and had to request that the keys be found and car pulled up for us to come back to. That is when we found out why the keys couldnât be foundâŚ
We came back and luckily the car was ready to look at, with key in hand. Car hadnât been on the lot long so wasnât cleaned out but thatâs understandable and wasnât an issue for me.
At this point it is getting close to closing time and everyone knows finance takes the longest. My rep had plans, I am only guessing here, because at the end I was barely in the car and they were already pulled out and gone.
I wasnât shown anything about the car. During the test drive or after, the only thing shown was the sun roof. I really liked the car so went forward but wasnât shown how to set up my phone or shown anything about the inside, which is a basic step for showing/ selling a car. The detailing wasnât even done well, I guess because it was getting late and everyone wanted to go home??? I donât know. The only good thing was the car and at least having my gas tank filled for when I drove off.
I was going to let this all go but I got pulled over the next day because my back DS taillight was out âŚâŚ Luckily the cop let me go after explaining i hadnât had the car for 24 hours yet and didnât know. If my rep wasnât half way home by the time I started up the car, maybe they could have noticed and solved the issue before it was an issue.
I had to leave work early 2 times, Monday, to bring the car up there and Wednesday, to bring it back as they had to order a part. I lost out on 4 hours of work to get this issue solved and with nothing more than an âoh wow. is service taking car of you?â from my rep when I saw them while it was being fixed. Not even a sorry or anything to try and make the situation better. I would think buying a Hyundai from Hyundai would not come with such a crappy experience.
I then left a voicemail asking for help with bluelink system/a solution, blue link does not work for this model anymore and I wasn't told this, over a week ago and no call back. I really like my car but not the greatest experience. My brother got a new car at KIA down the road and had a wayyy better experience. Rep showed him everything about the car and how to work it, she stayed until we all driver off at 9 pm, and was nice from beginning to end.
Again, I was going to let allll of this slide and just say whatever, but as I try to sign up for my Lienholder account, I was told to call for error. I call the lien holder just to be told I couldn't make an account because my birthday was put in wrongâŚâŚ. I am currently working on getting this update so I can pay on my freaking car.
This was my first time buying a car from a dealership and it truly has been crappy from beginning to end. Having to come back because some played hide the keys, missing out on hours/money at work to come in for the broken taillight, being sold a car with a broken taillight, being pulled over for the broken taillight, having to use youtube to learn about my car features, and now having to solve this issue with my lien holder.
3 stars because I like the car and the service people were nice. Wouldnât really recommend though from...
Read moreThe time came after 34 years for my husband to get a new car. Our whole married this guy had driven the worst of our cars and not complained. This time the 2011 Honda with over 200k on it outlived its usefulness and it was Tomâs turn to choose a car he could really enjoy. He did amazing amounts of research on size, features, reliability, all the issues that would be important to him as we retire and start traveling with friends, family, grandkids. More than transportation, this one is a lifestyle. We test drove and he settled on the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Calligraphy. The due diligence was done shopping different dealerships looking for the most car for the least money, respectful communication, and transparency in negotiating. Our salesman Ali, and the manager Edgar were willing to negotiate, which we needed to do in order to get a car in this price range. But they were respectful and up front throughout the process. Patient, helpful, and pleasant to deal with. And we got more car than we thought we could for a price we could afford because of it. Another dealership whose name I wonât disclose did the normal bait and switch, advertised a low price, told us we could get the best deal if we came in person, and put down an offer $17k higher than the advertised price. Then proceeded to argue about âthatâs how itâs done!â And the math is still in my favor! As of today, they are still calling me to âearn my business.â An unusual event occurred that really proved to us that we had chosen the right dealership when we dealt with Town Center Hyundai. After the paperwork had been signed and Ali was helping us set up the app on our phones that would provide to pretty sweet convenience features, another customer TEST DROVE HIS VEHICLE INTO OUR BRAND NEW SANTA FE! While the damage may not extensive it is still diminished value to a vehicle youâve just paid a significant amount of money for. Under other circumstances maybe pulling out the dent, or replacing the bumper would suffice, but we elected not to take delivery and leave it there until Monday, giving us time to decide what would be acceptable to us. Before we could even get there on Monday morning, Ali and Edgar had found a new, identical vehicle and switched it out. They called to tell us we could come get our brand new car as if it had never happened. Mistakes might happen, but it means the world that they did everything they could to handle the mistake well and that is why I am glad we chose this dealership to purchase our new car from Thank you, Ali, Edgar, and the folks at Town Center Hyundai!!! From where I stand you deserve your #1 status and Hyundai Corporate should be proud that you represent...
Read more10-Star Experience at Hyundai of Kennesaw â Ask for Carl Stuart! I had the pleasure of working with Carl Stuart on Friday, April 18th, and let me tell youâthis man deserves a raise and a cape, because heâs a true sales superhero. I called in to ask about a 2017 Lexus, and not only did he confirm it was still available, but he also followed up by texting me a video showing off the carâs features. I was basically sold before I even set foot on the lot. Fast forward to Saturday morningâmy son and I pulled up, and Carl greeted us like VIPs. The test drive? Smooth like butter. I was in love with the car immediately. Carl walked me through the numbers, and I started my loan process with my credit union while still there. While waiting on approval, Carlâs manager offered to run my credit through their banks. Since I already had a hard inquiry, I agreed. Now, here's where things got spicy. One of their finance reps tried to steer me into financing with them, throwing in a classic âsomeoneâs driving in from Tennessee to buy this car right nowâ line. I stood my ground and told them Iâd wait on my credit union. (Shoutout to my son for saying, âWhoâs looking for a Lexus at a Hyundai dealership?â Me. Thatâs who!) After 4 hours, I left confident and still committed. Carl followed up with a kind message thanking me and saying he hoped weâd get everything squared away. Monday cameâand boom! Loan approved at 5.97% APR through my credit union. I texted Carl immediately. He confirmed the Lexus was still there and prepped it for me. I showed up Wednesday, and Carl had it cleaned, staged, and ready to roll. My other son noticed two cracks in the windshield that werenât there during the test drive, and Carl immediately brought it to the teamâs attention. They agreed to replace itâno pushback, no excuses. I finalized everything with Ron Campbell, who made the paperwork a breeze. In and out, no stress. If you're in the market for a car, make your way to Hyundai of Kennesaw and ask for Carl Stuart. Heâs communicative, respectful, and genuinely cares about his customers. I give Carl 10 stars. If I could give...
