So let me give y'all a little insight on what kind of person you're giving your money to.. I was among one of the first management hires back in December when the place was still being built. When I accepted the job I was promised no time period I wouldn't be paid even if the construction was delayed, that he would treat us well like an older brother, we were his "family" now. We were sent to the Culver's in McDonough for training, 7 weeks. Their training is chaotic, unorganized, Culver's really needs to do better with their training program(videos don't count!) not the fault of the McDonough location, just the company in general. A few weeks go by, and a few issues arise, Daniel (commerce owner) handles the situations horribly unprofessional and begins to start treating all of us badly, even the staff at the McDonough location were shocked at the way he was acting and speaking to us. During the last two weeks of training we were sent to the Jasper Culver's location to aid in the opening of that store, Daniel behaved even worse at this location! So much so the second week we all got told to go home that we were not welcome anymore because of something Daniel had said. I ask Daniels wife if we will still get paid for the hours we were promised since it wasn't our fault we got told to leave, she said to me in front of everyone "It's not your concern, I don't want to hear that from you so don't ask again" Excuse me??? My paycheck isn't my concern? It is now late January when our training is complete more or less, at this point of the construction the opening of the store was delayed till March and was said it could be as late as end of April. We were not told this as his management team, we overheard it while he was on the phone with corporate!! So one by one we were pulled into his office and told about the delay as he whined about the expenses of building the place, that he couldn't afford to pay us till the opening! 1 1/2-2+ months with no paycheck! He told people with kids, wives, rent and bills that we'd just have to make do cause he couldn't afford it!? With that news we all walked out on him that day and I got in contact with the corporate guy Jason who was responsible for overseeing Daniel making sure he didn't abuse the company name. I let Jason know of all the mistreatment by Daniel and his wife and what he had told us, I was informed he was not supposed to tell us that he couldn't afford us and was supposed to find us another store to work at, I informed him that Daniel threatened to withhold pay if we quit on him which he did to 2 girls til I brought corporates attention to since that's illegal. After my conversation with Jason, Nothing was done about Daniel!! He was still allowed to open and run this location, shame on Culver's for allowing a man so crooked and stupid be the face of your company here. Guess goes to show if you have enough money they will let you slide on any kind of screwed up business behavior. Just another fast food place where corporate don't care, employees are mistreated, conceited boss only cares about money and himself. This is my first experience with Culver's and a truly horrible one at that!! 👎 Don't...
Read moreLast night was the second time trying Culver's out. The first time was their food that was not good to the point of my two kids not eating their kids meals and throwing them away saying the words "it's disgusting" which was a shock to me because they will eat any other kids meals at 85 with no problem. A friend told me that Culver's food is horrible, but the ice cream is really the only thing they have going for them. So, instead of cutting Culver's out after the yucky food, I wanted to give them another go with their ice cream. When ordering the salted caramel shake I was asked if I wanted anything to be mixed with and responded no while looking at the picture assuming my shake would look somewhat similar and with a straw. It was placed at the table looking nothing like the picture, a solid color, and with a spoon sticking out. 🤔 though shakes would have a straw 🤷♀️. Also, after having my order done, my son's friend needed to place his order and the lady went to another customer after I just said he needed to place an order. The other customer was complaining how he ordered a double and got a single and with another working reading the man's recipe, was holding the recipe with tongs that were being used to cook with. Tongs could have been left in the kitchen instead of bringing to the front and holding recipe paper with them, might as well been holding money with them, then going back to cook food 🤢. Anywho, My son's friend ordered a malted then changed his mind to a sundae. A sundae and malt was brought to the table. I was trying to tell the employee that we didn't order it, but wasn't given a recipe. Wanted to make sure I paid for it when I should have since being under the assumption when changing your mind should mean that the malt should have been taken off. When looking at my change, it was obviously paid for. The three kids gobbled the icecream, so that's good; however I was disappointed for a second time at Culver's ams will not be giving them a third try. Sorry, no three strikes your out here,...
Read moreThis is the third time I have given him this, Culver’s, another chance in Commerce, Georgia. I will make sure I never return. Thank goodness. We have one closer in Anderson South Carolina with great customer service. The female owner is absolutely atrocious and does not carry the Culver’s Customer Service tradition. I come from Wisconsin, and I have never ever seen a Culver’s like this. They are so greedy with their condiments. My husband was in the hospital for three weeks and on our way home we decided to get culvers. Of course we spend the usual $40-$50 each visit and went through the drive-through as I paid $.75 each for three ranch sauces, I only received two through the drive-through, I showed the cashier that brought my order out to me so she ran back and grabbed me another ranch as they missed it and I paid for it already. Then the manager came outside and wanted me to dig through my bag of food that was already getting cold to prove that I did not get the third sauce as I was feeling like she called me a liar.. someone from Wisconsin. Please come down and give her a learning lesson. She should’ve bought of McDonald’s if she wants to continue to act like that instead of Culver's. The female owner is giving culvers a super bad name. I will never return, and I will convince others not to go to that location. I will be reporting this to customer service...
