I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an order I placed through DoorDash on May 14, 2025, to Panda Express, 111 Grv Crk Pt, Commerce, GA 30529.
The address listed for this location on both DoorDash and Google Maps was incorrect. I arrived at the specified address around 5:00 PM to pick up my order, only to find that no such restaurant existed at that location. After walking around and verifying I was at the right place, I called the restaurant directly and learned that the actual location is nearly four miles away from the address DoorDash provided.
Due to this misdirection, I gave up on retrieving the order and returned home. The following day, I contacted DoorDash via chat support to report the issue. Unfortunately, the experience with the agent was deeply disappointing:
I was placed on hold for 10 minutes.
The agent then claimed that no one answered the phone at the restaurant.
I was told a refund could not be issued because the order was marked as "complete."
However, I personally attempted to call the restaurant multiple times, and someone answered each time. Clearly, the restaurant was reachable. Moreover, the restaurant owner (Daniel), whom I met in person the following day, could not locate any record of my order after searching for 15 minutes.
I am extremely dissatisfied with how DoorDash has handled this situation. Not only was the restaurant location inaccurate, causing significant inconvenience, but the customer support I received was inadequate, dismissive, and failed to investigate the matter responsibly.
I respectfully request the following:
A full refund for the undelivered order.
An internal review of this support interaction and why the agent failed to contact the restaurant.
Correction of the incorrect restaurant address in your system to prevent future customer issues.
