Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Georgia

Updated review on 10/9: tried to go to this dairy queen again. Terrible mistake. Would give zero stars if I could. They DO NOT make the blizzards up to dairy queen standards. Again, I paid extra for more toppings and AGAIN, got actually LESS than what should come with a standard blizzard. Literally just got plain ice cream in a cup. This is absolutely ridiculous. Whoever owns this store needs to step it up and stop being so sleazy!

Really bummed cause I asked for AND paid more for extra cheesecake pieces in my blizzard and there was ZERO cheesecake pieces. Only the graham cracker crust..it was like they ran out and just poured whatever crumbs were left into my blizzard. Absolutely no cheesecake in my Royal New York CHEESECAKE blizzard. What's even worse..I also ordered a milkshake and the guy said they were out of whipped cream and asked if I still wanted it without the whipped cream. So why wouldn't he have said there was literally NO cheesecake peices, let alone the extra that I PAID more for!!! Just really really disappointed. Why can't they just tell me there isn't any cheesecake left. Literally the only reason I get the Royal New York cheesecake blizzard is for the CHEESECAKE!! It's just rude!!! I went into this Dairy Queen in hopes that their bathroom was clean. I don't use public restroom unless it's dire need and I was far from home . I had set myself up to be grossed out. Thank goodness the bathroom was in excellent condition. I asked how long had this buisness been opened and an employee said a little over a year. In my opinion long enough that things could have started to look a little unkept. Not the case here. I was so pleased I had to let the manager know. I dined in and had their barbecue sandwich on a regular bun. Not only was it delicious (I had two btw) but I had no issue with my request of what I had wanted on my sandwiches. The young man who took my order was a pleasure to chat with while I waited on my food. All the young men and women there seemed to enjoy their job. The overall buisness and were clean, enjoyable. Philip and the Ms. El during lunch time are awesome! Always super friendly knowledgeable and willing to help. Unfortunately, when it comes to the evening shift, it is miserable. They are doing you a favor to attend to you, if they even know how. Today they didn't know to answer half of my simple questions, and in the end ended up overcharging me because they didn't know how to ring it up correctly. Also had no interest in helping me take a cake to my car with a kid in one hand and other food bought there in the other hand. And that is not to even talking about the kid at the counter sitting on the counter itself when I walked in with his earphones in and back to the customers walking in. Me and other employees had to yell so he would notice I was waiting to order. Hopefully they get their stuff together soon and get more people like Philip to work there the evening shift, or I am sure they will start loosing business...
