I had never eaten here but my in-laws raved about how good the burgers and fries are. I drove over and ordered at 6:20 PM. 4 burgers and 4 fries. They have a pretty easy set up for making the burgers. The cashier calls out how many hamburger patties they need and they start those on the grill and the people adding the veggies and sauces assembled the buns on the wrapper and wait for the meat to be added to wrap it up. Then they put numbers on them so everyone gets the burger according to the ordering sequence. They bag each burger in separate bags and put the fries on top. Lots of homemade fries. So when they call my order number I picked up my 4 bags and carried them out, drive home and put them on the table according to the way I ordered them with the numbers. Should have been no problem but only 1 out of the 4 were right. I called the store and got the standard "well it was busy and they must have gotten mixed up" answer, which as I explained shouldn't happen! Then She took my number and told me the district manager would be calling me back about the issue. Never heard a thing. I drove 20 minutes and waited 40 minutes and drove back home 20 minutes to no get dinner. Never again. Don't go here if their busy apparently because even with their simple procedure the employees can't get it right and this wasn't a too few employees problem because 5 or 6 people...
Read moreI had a truly disturbing experience at Five Guys today that left me shocked and extremely disappointed. While waiting for my order, I watched a fly land directly on a piece of meat that the staff member was preparing. What’s worse is that the staff saw me witness this. Despite this, she proceeded to assemble and wrap the burger as if nothing had happened.
It wasn’t until I spoke up and said I would not be accepting that burger that she finally threw it away. At that point, she looked at me and casually said, “Oh, this is yours,” as if it were just a minor oversight. She did offer a quick apology after seeing the clear dismay and disgust on my face, but the fact that she was going to serve it in the first place is unacceptable.
This experience raised serious concerns about hygiene and food safety at this location. It’s one thing to have a fly in the environment which can happen but it’s another to knowingly serve contaminated food and only discard it when a customer refuses it. I urge management to better train staff on basic food safety standards and to take sanitation and customer health seriously. Please be more mindful. This was incredibly off-putting and disappointing from a brand I...
Read moreI love Five Guys! Whenever I go with my son (9 yrs old at the time of this review) he leaves glowing (I have been there at least 10 times). His eyes pop out at the size of the regular burger! It is huge - We always get little burger cause one patty is plenty and so good! The guys and girls that work here are always so personable and fun. The Fries are YUMMMMY! A $5 burger - a great value! The condiments are crisp and delicious!
It is great that they have the malt vinegar available. - If they could could add a nicely battered fist to the menu they would have the best fish and chips in the states! Just a suggestion five guys - you could get an entire new batch of customers!
We can't go every all the time cause we would be as big as a house but it is great! My daughter can't eat here since they cook in peanut oil. But that is okay - we just take her some place else. The peanut oil makes the fries super. I would never dream in having them change the way they cook it!
I always recommend it to my friends when they want a good place for a...
