Roti was undone. Look at the photo.
Saltfish was also not cooked well enough. The saltfish was chewy and didn't break apart easily like it should when it is cooked well. Lacking flavor, all I could taste was the sautéed onion in my Bake and Saltfish. Bake was fine. Curry chicken was good.
The pholourie were very greasy and soggy after sitting out for so long. Nice flavor, though.
On a Sunday morning last week waited on line for 30 minutes. Normally wouldn't do that, but was from out of town and specifically drove here to try this food after missing carribbean food back home.
Their menu, which has 3 sides, showed only the 1st side on their malfunctioning TV monitors (tha5 first side showed only desserts 🙃.) The second side of the menu was blank, and the third side's connection kept going in and out, so you had to attempt reading the menu every 3 seconds-litetally, no joke.
No menus lying around and no updated menu online. I had to piece the puzzle together by some of the poor photos other reviewers left here on Google. So expect to wait forever, then know exactly what you want when you get to the servers because, ironically, they are impatient.
It doss not look clean here and the bathroom-which I need to use as an emergency option from waiting on line for so long-was disgusting. The toilet wouldn't flush, and there was no soap or paper...
Read moreLet’s get one thing straight, being comfortable with your food being good is not enough! There are lots of Caribbean resturants in GA that may not cook as good but CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE IS TOP NOTCH. Your customer service needs to be just as good! Whatever her name is the short, slim girl that works your front register is the MOST DISRESPECTFUL, RUDE, NASTY person I have ever encountered at any restaurant!! And the tall girl that serves the food needs to understand how to listen and comprehend what is being said to her when an order is being placed I literally had to repeat my order to her MULTIPLE times for her to understand what I was ordering. I am Guynese I KNOW WHAT I AM ORDERING WHEN I STEP INTO A CARIBBEAN RESTAURANT. Also the few times I do pay for food here the digital menu is always broken (no signal) so that isn’t helpful for the customer when it comes to prices and how your meals are setup. It needs to be a smoother flow of ordering and receiving food and hire people who actually want to be there and enjoy speaking to People. Wishing better employees for you on the NEW Year GOD BLESS!! Time was around 6pm...
Read moreUnfortunately GA has very few roti shops so we have to settle for them. Disgusting! Bland, no flavor at all with a small roti skin to match!! As a fellow trini you would at least expect them to season their meats with green seasoning, but hell no-prolly tsp a salt the most they use, that's it. I once got spoiled channa, and they didn't believe me until they tasted for themselves and had to apologize; yuckkk!! I should of ate it, and sued for food poisoning. How dare they serve spoil curry!! To top it off, their serving method is unsanitary, when serving foods tend to fall into other dishes, ex. Rice will fall into the curry pan, or some Channa will fall into the chicken pan etc. I gave them chance after chance, because you know we Trinidadians love our roti, but no more, I waste my money everytime. I was going to cook my own curry and just buy a roti skin, but the buss up shot be oily!!!! Oh one last thing, I ordered pumpkin with channa and chicken but they put so much sauce so when I got home, the channa gravy and chicken gravy drenched my...
