Went here today for lunch and honestly the customer service experience has stuck with me in a very bad way. Cashier rung me up and I asked for two small cups for ice cream. I paid my order and then she told me I would get my receipt when I got my order. Okay fine. She gives me two regular size cups and I'm thinking okay. These are big for ice cream, but okay. Go to the ice cream machine, it's out of order. Finally, after about 20 minutes, our order is ready. I'll look at the receipt which was stapled to the bag and I was charged for two cups of ice cream. I go up to the register and I see the manager back there prepping orders and I say excuse me, I was charged for ice cream and first of all I thought it was free, but second of all you guys don't even have ice cream today, there's a sign on the machine that says "out of order". The manager grabs my receipt and says okay. I'll fix it in a minute after I do this. I have to wait for another 5 minutes while she preps another order and then finally, reluctantly, and with somewhat of an attitude comes over and I guess refunds the charge on my order because she never asked for my card. She just asked for the receipt and then gave me a new receipt. No apologies from the manager either. I sure hope that the cashier that got my order wrong was coached from this experience, but based on the manager's attitude, I doubt it. It's just a shame that my order was rung up incorrectly and yet I was treated like I was in the wrong with many questions from the manager, like are you sure you didn't ask for two 24 oz drinks? I said look at the receipt it says two ice cream cups! Anyways, based on this experience, I don't think I'll be back here anytime soon, not to this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was Jason's around 4:30 today, Saturday. The young man who took my order was very pleasant, and took the time to tell an incoming customer he would be right with him, as he was bagging my order. He even came running out to the parking lot to bring my muffins that had been left out. I was take-out, and he could have just not bothered. You know, this seems minor, but nice makes a difference. AND, the lady who made my salad did a wonderful job. Instead of the salad bar, they now have an extensive list of what can be added - just like the old salad bar. There are a couple new options not on the old bar, for a reasonable extra charge. (Except I think the pudding wasn't there š.) Back to the lady who fixed it - the salad was well-presented (pretty) and did not skimp. It had everything I ordered, good portions of the add-ons, etc. It 99.9% exactly as I would have made - coulda had one more beet š. Maybe because I was hungry that it seemed to take a long time before it was ready, but (1) both employees were multi-tasking, and (2) the salad lady was taking the time to do it right. I hope all of the employees are as nice and attentive as these two. I will be back. And I know you may think I'm someone without a life š, but these days, we all need a boost. I was treated right, and I want...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTasty sandwich; markedly awful service.
I ordered my sandwich online and arrived when it was supposed to be ready. Went to the counter, the cashier said it wasn't ready yet, but would be shortly. Okay, no problem -- lunch hour, things can be busy.
I stepped off to the side and waited; watched some bags be brought up to the counter, some were picked up, others lingered. A few names got called out.
Meanwhile, none of the staff seemed that interested in moving with any sense of urgency or efficiency, taking their time, and moseying slowly from one point to another.
After waiting for about 10-15 minutes, and seeing a bag that had just been kinda sitting there for several minutes, I approached the counter and asked the cashier again if my order was ready.
She said she didn't know; I pointed to the bag, "is that mine?" And indeed it was, yet she told me "it just came up." When I said no, I had seen it sitting there for several minutes, she just kind of said "oh," and handed it to me, and said nothing else.
Got my sandwich home, and it was pretty sloppily assembled. Tasty, yes, but yet another way by which it was clear that nobody actually cared to do...
