Take a review from an expert who has 25+ years of experience with cuisine 👍🏻

As an Indian who enjoys Indian cuisine, I recently dined at Zyka Indian Cuisine, a renowned Indian restaurant in the USA that has gained popularity among American diners. I must say, it's easy to see why this place is a hit among locals and visitors alike!

The restaurant's self-service concept immediately caught my attention. Upon entering, I was greeted by a vibrant and bustling atmosphere, with a beautifully laid-out buffet featuring various Indian dishes. The aroma of spices filled the air, and the friendly staff was readily available to assist with any questions or recommendations.

Now, let's talk about the food, which was the true highlight of my dining experience at Zyka Indian Cuisine. The Chicken 65 was a delicious starter, with tender pieces coated in a flavorful blend of spices with just the right amount of heat. The Butter Chicken was rich and creamy, with a luscious tomato-based sauce that was simply irresistible. The Chicken Tikka Masala was succulent and well-marinated, with a captivating blend of spices that left me wanting more. The Chicken Biryani was fragrant and packed with flavors, with perfectly cooked rice and tender chicken pieces that were a delight to savor. And the Matka Kulfi was a delightful finale to my meal, with its creamy texture and refreshing flavors of saffron and pistachios.

One thing that stood out to me was that Zyka Indian Cuisine has successfully catered to American taste preferences while maintaining the authenticity of Indian flavors. The dishes were well-balanced, and the spice levels were adjustable to suit individual preferences, making it an excellent option for those new to Indian cuisine.

The service at Zyka Indian Cuisine was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. It's no wonder this restaurant has become a go-to spot for many Americans looking to experience the flavors of Indian cuisine.

While my dining experience at Zyka Indian Cuisine was delightful, I deducted half a point from my rating due to the crowded nature of the restaurant, which made it a bit challenging to navigate during peak hours. However, this didn't detract from the overall excellence of the food and service.

In conclusion, Zyka Indian Cuisine is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Indian flavors with a touch of American appeal. With its self-service concept, delicious dishes such as Chicken 65, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani, and Matka Kulfi, along with friendly service and a lively atmosphere, I would give Zyka Indian Cuisine a well-deserved...

After looking a few different Indian restaurants my family decided on this spot. They have great reviews, good pricing, and were close by. We decided on a few items and because I had to run some errands I told them I would let them know when to place the order and I would pick it up, thinking it would be about 15-20 minute wait. Boy was I wrong. After placing the order I was told it was going to take 45 minutes, whew. I didn't want to go home and come back out, seeing how I was right there, so I went there hoping for a miracle, but as soon as I saw the inside I knew minutes was accurate. It was a Sunday night around 7pm and this place was packed! I mean tables full, long lines, and plenty of people waiting for food and/or a table. Everyone there seemed not to mind, I guess they knew what was up, lol. When I walked in I honestly expected a restaurant style eatery, but that wasn't the case. You seat yourself at your own table, you get in line to order your food, and when it's ready they'll call you up. They serve everything on paper plates and to go containers, along with an area to get napkins and plastic wear. They also have a water station with silver pitchers that you can fill with ice and/or water, along with paper cups. Easy clean up for them, lol. They serve canned beverages as well if you wanted something other than water. I went to the pick up line to pay for the order and get an estimate time of when the food would be ready which was about another 35 minutes. As I waited I observed all that was around. Now while they did have long lines and wait times, the food was coming out. Take out orders, both over the phone and online, plus dine in orders. They seemed to have a pretty good system too. Taking orders, getting food from the window, double checking orders, and calling people up to get their food. After almost an hour after my order was placed I was able to get my food. Unfortunately they were out of the vegetarian samosas, boo, but they did refund me my money and provided me with the Aloo Tikki on the house. Everything smelled delightful and I could not wait to get home and eat. Our order consisted of the vegetarian biryani, chana masala, bhindi masala, naan, 2 orders of saffron rice, and dal hyderbadi. Everything was delicious, but I enjoyed the bhindi masala (had a nice little kick to it) and chana...

As a once dedicated customer for the past 20 years, it deeply saddens me to say that my recent visit to Zyka was nothing short of a nightmare. I can confidently declare that this was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant.

To begin with, the quality of the food was appalling. Not only did the dishes lack any semblance of flavor, but they also left my party of three suffering from severe food poisoning. It is truly disheartening to think that a restaurant I once considered a reliable choice could serve food that caused such harm to its customers. This incident has completely shattered my trust in the establishment.

Adding insult to injury, the prices at Zyka have skyrocketed to absurd levels. We paid a staggering $11 for a dish called Karahi, only to be served a measly, solitary piece of chicken. The portion size was shockingly inadequate, leaving us feeling cheated and unsatisfied. It is clear that Zyka has completely lost touch with the value they once offered to their loyal clientele.

As a long-term customer who has supported Zyka for two decades, I can no longer, in good conscience, recommend this restaurant to anyone. The combination of terrible food quality, the distressing experience of food poisoning, and exorbitant prices is simply unacceptable. It is with great disappointment that I bid farewell to a once-beloved establishment, as it has let down its patrons in the most egregious manner.

If you value your health, your hard-earned money, and a pleasant dining experience, I strongly urge you to steer clear of Zyka. There are countless other restaurants in the area that prioritize customer satisfaction and provide delectable meals. Save yourself the heartache and frustration by exploring other options, as Zyka has proven itself to be wholly undeserving of...
