I would like to respond to a 1-star review left on 9/20/22. I was at an adjacent table when this exchange between the customer and the employee occurred. First of all, I find it tragic that an employee has to come out and ask you to enjoy your Starbucks coffee somewhere else. Has our society gotten so far removed from courtesy and manners that someone should even be put in this uncomfortable position? You wanted to enjoy the view, the comfortable surrounding, and the peaceful scene, but you don't feel the least bit of shame for not supporting that business with a small purchase? The women that left this review had been at Jumping Goats for almost an hour when they were finally approached by the employee. You didn't own your mistake, instead, I listened to you complain about how victimized you were by the business. What!! Are you even serious? My husband said, "I thought about explaining to them how business works, but, if these young women haven't learned common courtesy and basic manners by now, what's the point". I agree. They were rude and inconsiderate and they were politely corrected by the business. But, they feel completely justified in leaving a 1-star review. Shameful.

Jumping Goats coffee shop is a lovely and peaceful place (most days). The employees are kind and thoughtful, always checking on their patrons. I have been allowed to work for hours, enjoying the view and the fresh air, and they only ask that I buy one drink.
