Order was complete but the order was placed online 30+ Minutes beforehand and I still had to wait another 20 minutes in the lobby area. Our fries were half way filled, cold Mac and cheese, we were not given the amount of hot sauce we asked for and when asked for a “complimentary” dessert because of the long wait I was told “no.” I spoke to Lamont and he said there was nothing he could do and wasn’t going to give a complimentary dessert and he had others order he had to work on. What is the purpose of placing an online order when you are not gonna get it the time when it said it’s going to be ready? The order was supposed to be ready by 7:48 pm and I didn’t leave the store until about 8:13 PM. I feel like this is inappropriate customer service and there was no one that was going to take accountability for the lack of time and for me to sit there and wait an additional 20 minutes. I have placed orders online at other restaurants such as chipotle and our order is always ready on time when it says it’s going to be. And, the customer service at this KFC is horrible and they were people just walking around in the restaurant cooking or talking to other people and no one acknowledges you when you’re coming in and you just stand there. It's awful when you work hard all day and don't feel like cooking, so ya go to this particular KFC spend $35 on 12 pc. Meal for the family and get home to a box of thighs and lil bitty lil wings that don't look like they're from the chicken family. So now, upsetting as this may be I try to be understanding and call to the KFC There's noone answering so as tired and hungry as I was I drove 15 minutes back to KFC thinking maybe I should've told the associate the pieces we desired. But to my extreme disappointment I was met by the person whom I'd declare the WORST PERSON FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE EXAMPLE. LOL SHE CLAIMS TO BE A GM. This is my KFC and I regularly frequent this location. In the last 6 months I have only ever had to wait on my order one time. To put it in perspective, my order is small; no waiting necessary.
My meal is always delicious. It's hard to not enjoy KFC. In the last 6 months they have only messed up my order twice: the no cookie situation tonight and my sweet tea order. I got home and it was unsweet tea. Not a pleasant surprise.
The drive thru was problematic tonight. I'm not sure what happened to the employees but they were off their B-game. I say B-game because it always feels as if no one has taken the time to develop the staff into A+ players. They lack basic food service practices. My to go order isn't accurate, lacks napkins and a straw. They never ask me if I want a couple of packets of honey. I always have to request honey. Their people skills can use a lot of help and sculpting. But again ~ a leader needs to step up and properly train their employees.
I'll be back for my cookie and another meal. Maybe by then their performance...
