We had dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse. My niece called and made a reservation the wait time was 30 to 45 minutes. We browsed a nearby Aldi while we waited. There were 12 of us, not long after leaving Aldi, we got a text that our table was ready. Longhorn was really crowded, but it didn’t take long for some of our party to get their food. I had fried chicken tenders, with a salad and mashed potatoes (you can almost never go wrong with ordering chicken)Our waitress Chyanne got two of the orders mixed up, and had to get the manager. The orders that were wrong ordered steak, which is ALMOST always a problem. One steak was asked to be butterflied, well. The other order was for medium well, it was well done. Everyone had gotten their food, and my niece’s food still had not been brought out. After having to ask about her food, she just asked them to make it a to go, because everyone had finished eating at that point. My food was good and so was the service

Went for dinner. Clearly told the server I did not want cheese on my baked potato. She brought one with cheese with my steak anyway. I asked for another one without cheese. I waited and waited and had eaten everything but the potato that still hadn't arrived. My friends that were with me had finished their meals. The server was reminded I still didn't have the potato. She went and got it and it was covered in salt. I mean covered in salt. I like salt and there was no way I could even try to eat that. I pointed it out to her and she thought it was fine. I asked her if she was for real. She said she was sorry and offered to get me another one. Uh... No thank you. I looked for the Mgr on the way out but could not locate one. This server could use some more training but that isn't her fault, that's one the restaurant not her, so I will keep my criticism to a minimum. I included the picture of the Kosher salted potato....

We had dinner at Longhorns tonight and I can't rave enough about the food and service. Highly recommend you have a meal here, I think you're in for a treat. Porterhouse steak cooked to perfection, shrimp grilled and seasoned perfectly. I didn't care for the mac and cheese but that's just me, Tom said it was good. Our waitress Elizabeth was GREAT, attentive without hovering, personable and professional in every sense of the word while being the wonderful southern gal that she is, we felt like a family member by the end of our dessert. We were a bit anxious as it seemed we might have to wait to get a table but their whole operation was like a well oiled machine and our wait was only about ten minutes even though the parking lot and tables were full. I'm so happy we've found a great place to go for steak. Next time I'm saving room for more dessert!

We have previously dined at this location and had a wonderful experience. Tonight was the complete opposite, with the exception of the servers who were wonderful.

We were told at 9pm that there was a 5 to 10 minute wait for our party of 2, with one party of 7 ahead of us that included 3 younger children. Less than half of the tables in the restaurant were occupied. A party of 6 had walked in about 15 minutes after we arrived. After 20 minutes, a server who was heading home for the night noticed that there were 15 people waiting for tables. She then went to let the manager know. The managing partner, Terry Holton, was oblivious to the situation as he had been standing at the bar talking to the bartender and a couple of customers for the 25 minutes we were sitting there so he failed to notice the hostess had to leave the front to go and bus tables. There were7 servers on the floor at the time, and a barback and food runners who were unoccupied at that moment. When he finally made it to the front he was unable to operate the seating list, and proceeded to sit the party of 6 that had just walked in the door at the largest table in the restaurant instead of ourselves or the party of 7 with young children who had been waiting for 30 minutes or more at this point.

I have never seen such a complete lack of management in a restaurant either as an employee or a customer.

We finally decided to sit ourselves in the bar section had put in our orders and received our drinks before our name was called. By this time it had been about 45 minutes since we arrived. We ordered a steak and a burger and two mixed drinks. The drinks were terrible. We got watered down cranberry juice and ginger ale masquerading as a cocktail that cost $7+ each. The burger came out medium rare instead of medium and the cheddar cheese on top was cold and not even slightly melted. The steak was cooked perfectly however.

Overall it was a very disappointing experience and has caused us to rethink whether this restaurant will be somewhere we need to revisit due in very large part to the ineptitude of an individual who is supposed to be a "managing" partner. Again, for the record, his name is Terry Holton. The entire situation could have been completely avoided had the manager been paying attention to what was happening on the floor instead of...

Idk why I have to give this place any stars to post about their total lack of skill by management and several on the wait staff. I sat in the bar high top tables after the host said they were short handed in the dining room. It was about 40% full. 25 mins after sitting the wait staff showed up at my table. Took my order. I ordered everything their 1st stop. Salad came about 10 minutes and there was only one more eye contact for the next hour!!!! The bartender had three customers at the bar and looked like she was just lally-gagging. drinking her drink not really paying attention to anything else. The people next to me look totally exasperated. When I asked them what was going on they said they waited two hours between salad and their meal!!!! Suggested I get a room! I told them that wouldn’t happen with me I was only half right After one hour and no food I flagged the waitress down and told her to give me my check for my salad She went and told my waitress who went and yelled at that I was getting ready to walk out She had already lied to me and told me my food was on the way 25 minutes before! I went to host and said check me out! That took about 10 minutes while my waitress showed up and tried to persuade me to wait and take my food with me if I was in a hurry! Lmao. When I said the manager needs to do something, they informed me while he’s the cook. There in lies the problem! When I complain to corporate, they sent me a $15 digital gift card I Explain to them in two years I had collected three gift cards because of poor service at this place. The first one I gave away to someone coming in. The second one has been in my wallet for years. And now this one. Contact me and I’ll email it to you! 😂. Stopped at another longhorn previously outside of Atlanta and walked out after 25 minutes of No eye contact. It seems corporate profits are more important than management and staff training. I’m sure they’re blaming it on Covid and the Democrats.

I assure you, I can cook as good as steak as they can ! In 1/4 of the time it took to get a salad! So be prepared, “ get a room”. Take your Xanax. Good luck and may the fork be...

We frequently eat here and most of the time we have a very positive experience, but the last two times it hasn’t been that way. On a previous visit our food was very late and extremely salty, which was highly unusual. Last night which was on a Tuesday night, the restaurant was extremely full. We just figured it was because of the traffic from the theater. We found out later why. Because our food took 55 minutes to arrive, we asked the waitress what had happened? She told us that 2 of the cooks had called in and didn’t show up. We asked her if that is why we had waited an hour to be seated, she informed us that because they were running so far behind that they had quit seating anyone for over a half hour. Once we were finally seated, we ordered and waited and waited! Once we received our food we were so very disappointed, the sauce on our steak was so salty that it was not edible, I had eaten all my salad and bread and was full and couldn’t even eat my meal, but I did eat a couple of bites before asking for a to-go box, again it was so salty that I took it home for the dogs. Very disappointed I asked the waitress what had happened and that’s when we were told the story. While waiting we had noticed that the floor manager was going to everyone’s table and speaking at length to many customers. The waitress said she was going to talk to the manager and would be right back, 5 minutes later she came back and looked down and handed us the bill, quite honestly I was insulted, the manager had reduced the bill by 8 dollars, why even bother? This turned out to be one of the worst experiences I’ve ever received, it spoiled a beautiful evening that we had up till this visit. We have been going here for a long time, but I will have to think long and hard about returning, we are just so very disappointed. I realize that every time you visit somewhere it can’t always be perfect, but I do believe that when it happens, it really does put a sour taste in your mouth when the floor manager makes it worse when you’re insulted by his actions ! Like I said, we have been very...
