Maruthi Foods — Restaurant in Georgia

Went there to get sweets and snacks and bought few snacks and sweets cost me $48, super expensive. 1st time i am seeing sweet shop in history who are selling sweets piecewise for $2 each and that too the size of all the sweets are too small tiny sweets for example badashah, kajukathli etc. Even snacks are super expensive chakodi and thick chakra small packet $6 each. They are charging 10 times more than the current inflation. The owner of this shop is very greedy and i don't recommend anyone to go this store, you will be literally robbed. Please avoid going to this sweet shop. I'm very disappointed with the over priced of 90% of the items and had a very bad experience and very disappointed after seeing the bill. 90% of the items are over priced and super expensive. I think the old man and his daughter who is owner of this food shop will buy the entire shopping complex the way they are charging the prices of the sweets, snacks, pachdi(Achar). Even the mgmt(the sales person and chefs) accepted that the food items are over priced and super expensive when i spoke to them on phone. My genuine feedback not to go to this food store, you will be literally robbed. Please...

I usually don't post reviews but with this experience I could not resist. I was under impression Maruthi foods gives high priority for quality & of course that justifies their high cost. This happened on Dec 21 I had to travel out of town to visit family and friends. I ordered 6 lbs of Jilebee and was told to wait till 12 pm as I needed fresh Jilebees. When I picked my order, to my surprise all that was packed was a day old Jilebees and all of the boxes had a soggy Jilebees, when I called the store they were nice to offer a free replacement. Looks like they ran out of fresh Jilebees and they still packed some boxes of soggy & stale Jilebees. The guy went inside and came out while I was not sure if they were packing fresh or stale ones again. It's sad to see Maruthi compromised and fooling customers in such a way. If you ran out of fresh ones you should have been honest & not compromise. Even though I was traveling out of town I did wait till 12 pm hoping I will get fresh Jilebees. Cumming area got plenty of options so be aware you are not the only one. If you fool customers like this you will soon loose many...

We ordered food for a family lunch. But we received one item which tastes really bad like stale food and another item with not so good taste. When we ordered we were assured that they are made fresh every morning, however looks like they are not. When I called them to express this concern, they not only refused to accept that delivered food was bad, they also asked me to drive to their store with the bad food and get a replacement. I rejected their offer and asked for a refund. They said I will be getting a call within 30 mins about next steps, but it's more than 12 hours now and still no direction. This happened before too but I chose not to write a review then. I would have been happy if they accept their mistake and take corrective actions to address the issue, but they did not.
