Erawan Thai — Restaurant in Georgia

Updated: We visited the restaurant again on the weekend. The restaurant was again busy so we thought we would experience the same service from last time. However, we were WRONG! Our new server was very friendly and professional (His name could be Andy per his conversation with other tables). Once we got our table, He immediately informed us that the food would be slow and politely asked us to be patient with him. He also kept updating us every 5-10 minutes about our order status and apologized to us for the food delay (he did this to all tables waiting for their food!) The food was still slow but strangely we didn’t mind at all since our communication with our server was solid. The food was as good as last time so our experience this time was very enjoyable. (Thanks to our server!) So, We update our review from 2 stars to 5 stars

------- Old review below------ We went there on Friday night and the restaurant was kind of busy. The food was good but service was very lacking. Food was slow and saw couple kids (one of them could still be in middle school) and one lady were working. One kid seemed to focus on his phone more than customers. The lady seemed to be overwhelmed at her jobs and had little or no idea how to handle the situation by herself. We waited long time to have someone refill our water and needed to ask them more than once to get what we needed. Dishes were not taken out even if we finished our food more than 15 minutes (dishes were still on table when we were leaving) Many reviews mention about receiving great service from the restaurant so it could just be our bad luck. The service at this location is fantastic and have great front end/phone answering staff. It was my first time ordering from them. I ordered though ubereats, and we have a lot of food restrictions. The first lady I spoke to was answered my questions about substitutions happily and asked the kitchen when she wasn’t clear which was I appreciate for her making sure I have clear answers. After I placed the order, a gentleman called me after he saw the other food restrictions I had noted down, and asked for clarification on if they can proceed with including an ingredient in our meals that I overlooked. This location also doesn’t include fish sauce in their food which was news to me and appreciated. After talking to these two staff members, I feel much more at ease with ordering from here and will be recommending them to friends with the note that they will work to accommodate food...

I have passed by this restaurant for the past 3 years and finally decided to give it a try.

First off, I have to commend the staff for always being so welcoming and attentive to all my needs. It gives me the comfort of knowing my money is well spent here and just a pleasant atmosphere all around.

2nd, the food here is absolutely amazing. They promote being organic and using quality ingredients for their dish. I did not think much of this and thought maybe it was just a sales tactic to upsell the food. However, I am so wrong. I can taste the ingredients freshness and the quality of the ingredients. I've eaten many dishes from here and still have not been disappointed.
