MTH Pizza - A Memorable Pizza Experience
My recent dining experience at MTH Pizza was truly exceptional. Upon stepping inside, the enticing aroma of freshly baked pizza greeted me, setting the stage for a delightful evening.
Without a doubt, the star of MTH Pizza is their pizza. The crust struck a perfect balance, offering a delightful blend of crispiness and chewiness. It was neither too thick nor too thin, making each bite an absolute pleasure. The harmonious combination of tangy tomato sauce, high-quality cheese, and an array of fresh toppings created a symphony of flavors. Whether you prefer classic choices or want to venture into more adventurous options, MTH Pizza caters to all taste preferences.
What impressed me the most about MTH Pizza was their commitment to using fresh top-notch ingredients. Every component of their pizzas, from locally sourced vegetables to artisanal cheeses, showcases their dedication to excellence. The result is a taste that elevates the dining experience to new heights, making each bite a truly memorable one.
One particular standout was the roasted garlic topping I chose for my pizza. It was soft, buttery, and bursting with the delicious flavors of freshly roasted garlic, adding an extra layer of depth to the overall taste.
The service at MTH Pizza was impeccable, which I greatly appreciate. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and well-versed in the menu offerings. They readily provided recommendations and happily accommodated dietary preferences and restrictions. Considering the demand for their delectable pizzas, the wait times were reasonable, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
The ambiance of MTH Pizza is casual yet inviting, with a modern and cozy interior. It's an ideal place to gather with friends or enjoy a very relaxed date night.
It's worth noting that MTH Pizza can get quite busy during peak hours, so making a reservation in advance is advisable to secure a table. However, even if there's a short wait, I assure you that the food is absolutely worth it.
On this final note, MTH Pizza is a true gem for pizza enthusiasts. With their exceptional crust, fresh high-quality ingredients, and attentive service, they have undoubtedly mastered the art of pizza-making. Read more4 and not 5? Well? The service lacked a little attention. But let me explain.
The place looks beautiful. Very nice and cozy. As I opened the door i was greeted almost immediately. Took my place and then the fun started.
When i got there, it was not crowded but the take out was on fire! A server came with the menu and left. Minutes past and i had to stop a waitress to ask how long for someone to take our order. She took the order. Waited around 20min which is totally reasonable. Its a brick oven. I would not want it faster then that if i want the flavor of the oven.
The pizza was one of the best pizza i have tasted. The ingredients? The dough? How it was perfectly blended together. That pizza needed to be in a Cooking Show as the pizza to beat.
I needed to call another server to get a refill and the check. All in one call because after 15min -20min out of all the servers that crossed my table, none of them stop to even ask how was everything.
On all fairness, after we started eating, the place got crowded. And again, the take out was having a Clearance Sale or something cause the line never stopped.
So again. 4 out of 5 just because the servers need to pay more attention. It was not just me who were left stranded on our table. There were other customers that probably waited more because they arrived later during rush time.
I took the time to write this cause the place its amazing. The food its top level. Even been understaffed, they did what they could. They just need to communicate with the customers whats happening. Don't ignore them. Own the problem and keep at it.
I am definitely...
Read moreAfter seeing so many 5 star reviews, this was my most disappointing pizza experience ever. We started with a salad which was pretty good and we ordered a decent Pinot Noir. Next came the pizza which was a real shock to be honest. Now I do have to say that I am a traditionalist when it comes to pizza. There is nothing better than a slightly crispy slightly chewy, really fluffy and light cornicione with just the right amount of leopard spotting to give it flavor. Top that with San Marzano tomato’s and bufala mozzarella and a pizza can become a heavenly delight.
The MTH Pizza had none of this. The cornicione is hard and flat with no spotting. The underside of the pizza is hard and extremely smooth with a burnt outer edge and no spotting in the center. Biting into the pizza is like biting into a a thin piece of paper supporting a half inch thick film of uncooked dough. And worst of all, the dough had no flavor. Hard to believe it goes through a 72 hour fermentation process.
They cook the pizzas in a gas pizza oven at 650 degrees for around 4 minutes but based on how hard the pizza ends up, I can only assume they use a very low hydration when a very high hydration is called for. So unfortunately MTH serves nothing more than a flatbread, and a flatbread that is no better than one bought from a supermarket unfortunately.
On the plus side, the service was good and friendly. I really wanted to love the pizza but that was not meant to be. If you are a pizza traditionalist like me, this is not the...
