PITA Mediterranean Street Food- Halcyon — Restaurant in Georgia

Very nice location and the weather made it a great afternoon. While ordering food, upon requesting to have my daughters gyro with sauce on the side, the cashier assured me that kids meals did Not come with sauce on them. When we food arrived, had SAUCE all over. I returned and asked for a new plate without sauce. The cashier was friendly and went to the back. She returned asking to bring the plate as the back of the house was sure they didn’t put any sauce. I had to go back to the table, take the whole plate from my daughter and show them it had sauce. The person in charge came outside and I told her it was not appropriate to have the customer show there was a mistake. Simply make it right. She proceed to tell me that the cook assured her it was not their mistake and she wanted to Proof to her that it was. Friendly cashier told me she would bring the plate out. We all finished eating and the food didn’t arrive. My husband went to check and food was ready. They were waiting for us to show the receipt didn’t say anything about sauce on the side. We proceeded to Explain that we were told it didn’t have any sauce because it was a kids meal. The manager asked my husband to come on the side to continue saying they didn’t do anything wrong. Manager told the cashier in front of him, it was her mistake not the cook. I’m baffled that an establishment argues to this extend with a customer who is simply trying to get a kids meal the way they were told it would come. This type of service is unacceptable and should be handled accordingly by whoever is in charge. What a shame that our family lunch...

Everyone in my family got to pick where they wanted to get dinner from at Halycon. I unwisely picked Pita for my dinner. I ordered steak pita, but they were out of steak, which was fine. So, I ordered chicken instead. The cost of my meal was double what it should have been. As other reviewers have stated, they make the sides sound included, but then charge you and don't give you a receipt to let you know what they rang up. The lazy, unfriendly cashier couldn't wait to return to her seat to play on her phone without giving me any idea how to get my food without a name or number. The food itself was barely edible and my chicken was gray!! My stomach hurts and I just read that another reviewer got food poisoning from the chicken here. Seriously, this place is the equivalent of a Greek version of McDonald's. Do yourself a favor and eat from one of the other places here, like the Cantina or the hotdog place because the rest of my family enjoyed their meals from those places. I will never give Pita a second chance to possibly give me...
