Planted Express — Restaurant in Georgia

When I originally made the video with the brown box the comment I said in the video was definitely a joke. However when I went in the owner did flirt with me and was talking about how I was distracting him and asked for my number. The second video in the white box shows when my boyfriend went in and placed the order for me the next time I visited this location within 2weeks. There is CLEARLY a difference not in just the amount of food but definitely the quality and care that was given to the food. When I called the owner of the restaurant to question him about the portion and quality of food he got defensive with me and denied giving me a larger portions before and said every order is made the same....clearly not. I'm not asking for special treatment, I didn't ask for special treatment with the brown box that is full and nicely set in the box. But what I do not like is the discrimination between how the order is prepared and received depending on who orders/ picks up the food. I simply would have appreciated and apology and a replacement meal with the portion I usually get when I visit the restaurant MYSELF but instead the owner of the restaurant turned it into a argument. I have been going to this restaurant for almost a year now and my mom travels 5 plus hours just to eat here so to be treated the way I was is unacceptable. Ladies apparently if you don't want your food to look like the white box you have to go in and get the food yourself smh. Also I did not eat any food from the white box this is exactly how I received it. Messy n low portion. decided to try this spot on Uber eats, ordered at 10pm, they close at 11, as most restaurants do, especially with any vegan options, meaning this was my last chance to eat for the night.

I placed order, they accepted it, allegedly made the food, 1st delivery driver told me they said it’s not ready and will take a minute, 15/20 min go by, they get me a new driver, he pulls up to location and tells me nobody is answering the door for him.

someone is in the building but can’t hear him knocking for several minutes because he’s blasting music in headphones. I’m on the phone hearing this man knock so hard on door. Received no communication from the restaurant or anything.

it’s not enough to just get a refund for something I never even ate, and also inconvenienced my entire night. I would not recommend ordering from this place on Uber, and from the reviews even before calling to make sure they are open, but actually even if you do call, nobody will answer just a robot, and then you will get no call back. I called on Instagram business page also so yeah. Thanks

I usually don’t leave negative reviews for black owned businesses, but this couldn’t go unsaid. I drove 20min to visit Planted Express for the first time today. There’s no signage on the outside of the building stating that it’s Planted Express, so I drove around in circles for 10min before calling & learning from the voicemail that they’re actually called Food King. Once inside, there was no air, no seating, and their were 3 kids (by the looks under 10) all in the back kitchen, as well as the man making the food & a lady- all without a hair net in sight. While ordering my food, one of the little girls literally put her foot on top of the counter. For a sandwich & a side salad, my order totaled right under $20. I didn’t receive change bc they claimed they didn’t have change. It took an additional 30min to make (there were two people in front of me who by the looks didn’t have large orders). The side salad was a mess and the lettuce was old. The texture of the bbq jackfruit sandwich I ordered tasted nothing like pulled chicken. I’ve eaten at vegan restaurants before, so I’m aware of how it’s supposed to taste. Overall the unprofessionalism was at an all time high & I definitely won’t...
