I am only giving 2 stars because some, some things come out pretty good. The issue is, everytime I order door dash from there, something that is always forgotten, even though it's always a free item, its always forgotten. If it was just an extra topping or sauce or something that's free then so so what but if I order something, remove things from that item because im allergic or just don't like it, and add one extra thing out of the choices they give, it shouldn't be forgotten. The stuff is added into the price so basicly ripping people off. One time I could forgive, but all the times? More than 4 times? No.. Today I ordered from their Google listing and when it showed the services that they use for pickup, the first one said sidelines {own buisness}. That would imply that its their service. I made my order, i havnt fully checked it yet but the thing they always forget is actually in the bad this time. I so happen to noticed the receipt has a "popmenu" charge. First of all, pickup orders shouldn't auto add a tip, doesn't matter if you can change it or not. Secondly, during the final stage of checking out, it does say there is a fee, just.. a fee. Im thinking maybe that's the item they always forget. Whatever its just a $1 for 2 sour cream, no big deal.. after i got my food, I happen to notice the receipt that shows a $1 popmenu charge.. I look it up and its an online menu service, I go back to what is suppose to be their online menu service, and of course its pop menu.. yall are really charging $1 to use your own online menu service? Thats dumb, infant, when you look up, what is pop menu service, it states that its a subscription charge for ordering, they do not require buisness to charge a fee nor do they not auto charge a fee and that's its very unlikely for anyone to charge a fee for it except popmenu does not require the buisness, not to charge it. Thats bad buisness. Maybe if you get everything perfect all the time or the service actually work good, and it doesn't, glitchy and buggy, then I wouldn't care, not even if it wasn't all the time, mistakes happen, but yall cant even get one simple request right, one time, on door dash not to mention, the food is really not that good, its cheap garbage food that's over priced. The proper way to charge for using a menu service is to work it into the price of the food, like everything else is. Tell us what we are paying for, not a hidden fee that's later revealed on the receipt after you have paid and picked up or delivered. If that fee makes sense, lower the price of food, abolish tips, add to every order, {menu, chair, table, cutlery, wages, tip, trash, power, water charge}. Don't work all the other overhead into the food and then charge people hidden fees to buy food from you as a seperate charge. Thats worse than a credit card fee for using a debit card. To add, just missing an item a few times and charging a hidden fee is not the totality of the issues, ive tried alot of different things there, some where ok, some a dog wouldn't eat and way more times than there should be, it was pretty much inedible. Yall dont have the "new" resrount on the block excuse anymore. train your cooks and preps better on everything, not just the most common orders. Do some mystery shopping at your own buisness, order door dash under a bogus name and make sure to ask for cheese curds with a side of sour cream. I bet you won't eat more than one or two.
Another thing, yall send a text saying the order will be ready to pick up in 10 mins and yall will text when its ready, I never got a text, I waited 10 mins over the estimate time and my food was just sitting on a cold counter out in the open. I was told it was sitting there for a while so, that's not working right either.
Rant is over, even though they have one thing on their menu that I actually like to eat everytime I order there, that no one else offers, im done with it. Not eating hear again. It's so easy to throw some potato slices in an air fryer or microwave, throw some chili, cheese and...
Read moreCame in on February 19th, 2024 around 2:30 pm with an old military buddy of mine, looking for some good solid chow, and the food here didn't disappoint.
We had to wait a couple of minutes for a table because the hostess and several servers were standing around chatting amongst themselves (yes they all saw us and kept chatting). Finally got a table and our server came over about 10 minutes later (the place was NOT busy, there were an equal amount of employees to customers).
We ordered our drink and appetizers and entrees, hoping the appetizers would come out soon. We waited about 10 minutes and got the drinks and then about 10 minutes later the appetizers AND entrees showed up at the same time. Service really brought the review stars down, and even though our server was polite - slow and mediocre service cannot be undone by being polite, though it is appreciated. Also considering it may not have been the server's fault and may have been the kitchen being slow I didn't mention names for that reason alone.
On to the meal: for our appetizer, we had the Fire River Shrimp, which is popcorn shrimp and seared jalapeños in a lemon pepper sauce and spicy ranch on the side (that was 🔥 as in dang good!), it had a zing to the shrimp and the jalapeños were perfect with the shrimp. Really nice blend of flavors, it was like cramming a jalapeño popper stuffed with shrimp and a little lemon and then dipping in a Cajun ranch sauce, really good blend!
My buddy and I decided to get 2 different entrees so we could try each other's; he got the Cuban sandwich and I got the California Club because I wanted some avocado on something. Man, both sandwiches were great! The club had grilled chicken with pepper jack, bacon, lettuce tomato and avocado and aioli, on ciabatta bread...man what a great blend! It tasted healthy with a crisp fresh blend of all the flavors...the grilled chicken was moist and perfectly cooked, the bacon was sizzled to a perfect "sandwich lean", the veggies were fresh, the aioli and avocado added a perfect touch, and the grilled ciabatta bread was the perfect choice to put this concoction together. Probably one of the best sandwiches I can remember having, kudos to the chef and whoever created this thing!
My buddy had the Cuban and also, great choice. A Cuban sandwich has to be the perfect blend of meats and cheese and then the sauerkraut and pickles bring the tang, and it either hits or doesn't, well this one hit it right on the head. I can tell by looking at a Cuban it's going to be good or not, and this one looked good and tasted better; the ciabatta bread really complmented the sandwich.
I had the tater tots on the side and they were perfectly cooked and seasoned just right.
Overall it was a great experience foodwise, and again while service wasn't "bad" it was slow and mediocre and detracted from the great food experience.
We definitely got the feeling locals are treated better by the way the staff was interacting with certain people or groups, and even though my buddy is not a local I am, and I may not return for this reason. I may come back one more time to see if it was maybe just a bad day.
I definitely recommend the food! If you don't care about being ignored or forgotten and don't mind waiting for a while to eat good food, this is your kind of place.
Location: 4 stars for convenience Parking: 4 stars for parking (lots of parking but also lots of idiots flying through the parking lot, not the restaurant's fault) Service: 1 Cleanliness: 3 (had to ask to get our table wiped down even though it was empty) Food: 5 stars (wish I could give the food a...
Read moreI had heard that Sidelines Grille had good wings even more so a sauce call Fat Daddy was delicious. So I had an urging for wings so I went here to try theirs. The place looks nice and clean with TV's lining the walls and tables. I ordered the 6 wings and was shocked that they will let you get 2 different flavors with just 6 wings. Bravo on that. Most places will only let you order 1 flavor unless you get 10 or more wings. My server Bryanna was and she was polite. I saw on the menu that it was $9 for 6 wings...only 6 wings. No fries, onion rings...nothing at all. This was disappointing. I ordered a sweet tea that was $3.00 putting the total pre-tax and fees at $12. My 2 flavors that I chose was the "Fat Daddy" and hot. You can usually gauge a place on their flavors with their hot flavor. My wings came (brought by someone else that just dropped and ran) and the presentation of the 6 wings were nice. I dug in to both starting with the Fat Daddy and then the hot. The Fat Daddy and the hot flavor tasted exactly the same to me. The hot was not hot at all...zero spice. Their hottest sauce is called XXX hot. So I was going to ask Bryanna if I could have a side of of the XXX hot sauce, but it was a few minutes before she came back (could have eaten all the wings by the time she came back around) to check on me. I'd say it's really busy so I understand, but it was not. She had 1 other table other than myself and the place wasn't even a 1/4 full. She tended to disappear to the back most of the time. When she came out, I asked her for the sauce and she promptly got it and delivered it and disappeared fast. The XXX hot sauce had a little spice and really should have been more classified as medium if anything. The wings themselves were what is quickly becoming your "standard" wing. Not very meaty, but just enough meat on it to say you have meat on them. Granted, they aren't as small/skimpy as Zaxby's wings. Would I return...maybe to try one of their other dishes like a reuben or burger. They do offer a...
