I used to love this Starbucks, until my most recent experience. On 5/08 I got a coffee at the drive thru. Later that day, I discovered my debit card was missing. I looked in my purse and my car, but didnāt find it. This Starbucks was the last place Iād used it, so I called to see if they had it. A girl answered the phone and said they didnāt have it. She took my name and number in case they found it.
I looked in my car again and even had coworkers check in my desk area at work. No card. I called this Starbucks again and was told again that they didnāt have it. By now Iām getting really stressed out, as Iām due to go out of town on 5/10.
When I got to work on 5/09, I looked all over the parking lot for my debit card, even looking under other cars in the parking lot. Still nothing. I called the Starbucks again, and this time got the manager Curtis on the phone. He asked me to call back in 10 minutes, as he needed to check the safe for my card. I called back, and they did indeed have it.
When I went to pick up my debit card, I told Curtis I was not happy about the situation. I explained to him that Iād called twice the night before and was told my card wasnāt there. I let him know that the girl even took my name and number. He said there was no note about it in the log book, and he made excuses about the situation. I would have expected some sort of gesture, but again, nothing.
To make a long story short, no coffee is worth the emotional roller coaster I was on while they had my card the whole time. I doubt Iāll go back to this location even though itās right on my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām writing this email on behalf of my mother who was treated very poorly at a Starbucks.
My mother made an online order of a few drinks at 8:25, and she arrived at the Starbucks at 8:45. She pulled in through the drive thru and the lady at the window was very polite, however there was a lady out of view who was yelling and screeching about how my mother needs to āhurry, hurry, hurryā and pull ahead because there are other people waiting. My mother checked, and there were no cars waiting behind her, but she still pulled ahead, parked, and went inside. After going inside, she was told that her drinks were still not ready yet and that sheād have to wait. She then later received her drinks at 9:06.
Though it was not ideal, this was all understandable, as under certain circumstances, drinks may come out later than expected. However, what is not understandable is the way an employee spoke to her and treated her. This employee is the same lady out of view who was yelling at my mother to pull ahead. Not only is that disrespectful, but also very unprofessional. My mother asked the lady for her name, but she would not give it. The lady continued to keep asking my mother why she needed her name in a very aggressive tone. My mother is not good with English, so as she was struggling with trying to say what the lady had done wrong, the same lady was snickering at her and mocking her for it. This kind of behavior is not only very disrespectful and unprofessional, but it is also very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve used the Starbucks app for a while now and wanted to use a birthday reward. However, the reward wasnāt showing up on my app despite the fact I entered my bday in my profile over a week ago. I waited weeks for this small perk lol. I asked if they could do anything or honor it for me somehow since I placed an order just in case and was already at the drive thru. The employees kept telling me no, didnāt give me eye contact, and told me there was nothing they could do for me. They wouldnāt even honor it. I offered to show my ID. They didnāt offer any other accommodations or any other routes of obtaining honorable rewards. They also immediately left the drive-thru after handing me my phone back. One of the employees returned, handed me my drink, and immediately took my other form of payment out of my hand without even asking if I had another form of payment. This is ridiculous. Starbucks drinks are already crazy expensive. They should have honored my request. And tbh, Iāve noticed this location dying down in its service and efficiency in the past 2 years. I would avoid it at all costs. Thanks for taking the time to read...
