Do not go to this location ! Worst customer service ever! Line was so long ..I waited 25 minutes to just to come up to order and for them to tell me that they aren’t accepting card..I don’t carry cash…at this location, once you reach ordering, there is no way out. You have to wait until everyone in front of you gets their order. I let them know they should have had a sign stating they were only accepting cash in the drive thru before people get stuck considering we been waiting this whole time to order..they said I could come inside and they can take my card there…they said that card system was working…so they wanted me to wait for the people in front of me to get their orders…then go inside and wait another line! 🤣 insane…I asked if they could take my order in that system…I really had to go to pick my boys up from the airport, they said it wouldnt be fair to the customers that are standing in line inside….so what about me?? I been waiting in line for 25 minutes …I’m stuck in the drive thru line and you are telling me you can’t walk over to your coworker 2 feet away and tell them to ring an order (all I wanted was a latte) and hand them my card?? They refused to do it. I told them I would wait until they are ready to take my order..they said..”sorry we aren’t, I hope you can find someone to get your boys.” Seriously? All of this would have been prevented had they put up a sign before the ordering window and let them know they were only accepting cash in the drive thru. So simple! They said they were too busy to do that. It’s a bunch of young adults at the window so maybe they just don’t understand good customer service yet… either way, I contacted corporate …they did give me $50 credit and they are going to contact the district manager. Hopefully they will teach them to provide better customer service and not be...
Read moreI've been going to this Starbucks for years. While I have had periods where I would go every week or sometimes twice a week, the current batch of employees makes me want to just drive on. Honestly, I can go down the road and get an acceptable coffee from Quiktrip. Starbucks does have better coffee but what I really pay extra for is that coffeehouse experience: the smell of coffee, patrons chatting lively because they're wired from their espresso drinks, and baristas cheerfully calling my name out when my drink is ready and looking me in the eye and smiling when they hand it over.
That used to be the case at this Starbucks a couple years ago, but not any longer. Don't know if it's just a bad batch of employees, or the manager is making them that way, but morale is low and that flows through to customer service. Like any Starbucks, they will make your drink right if they mess it up, can't complain about the coffee itself, but the service and atmosphere needs improvement.
EDIT AND UPDATE:
This Starbucks closed for renovations for a little less than a year. It really sucked, because it was in the path of my work commute. Even though the previous batch of employees had some morale issues, it still was Starbucks. The original plan was to have another store in the same building, but apparently contract negotiations fell through, and Starbuck got all of the allotted space. So now the space is huge! The cafe area is not cramped at all, there is space to spread out. You don't feel like strangers are listening to your conversations.
More importantly, there is a complete change in management and employees. This new batch is young and friendly, work well together, and make great drinks. I've upgraded my review...
Read moreI went in to Starbucks 4825 Sugarloaf Pkwy just to take a mental break. Promo said that if you order a hot tea or coffee and dine in, you can get a free refill. I asked the young lady if my drink qualified for the promo and confirmed the requirements to get the free refill and placed my order. Honey citrus mint tea w/extra mint and classic pump and oatmeal with extra water and agave w/ brown sugar. The oatmeal was very stiff bc there wasn't enough water and there was a qtr spoonful of dry oats at the top. I used my muscles to mix everything together and the agave helped to moisten the oatmeal from being so stiff. I consumed my items while playing approx 8 games of Candy Crush Solitaire until I noticed a fly on the windowsill right by my face. I went up to the counter get my refill and leave. A different young lady assisted me. She stated that my drink didn't qualify and that I could get another hot tea or coffee. I was not interested in another drink so I asked if they could honor what I was previously told during my initial order. The lady said, No, and asked if I wanted something else. I got a qualifying tea drink refill but had to pay a difference from my refill to add lemonade and honey blend just to get the same drink. I paid but also asked for the manager just to advise of my experience...it was the same young lady that rung me up. Had I known that I would've been misinformed, my oatmeal was going to stick to the roof of my mouth, I was going to dine in with a fly on a dusty windowsill and I would have to pay extra...I would've just went to Dunkin Donuts and mediated in my car in silence. SMH. My mental break turned in to mild frustration but in spite of other events,...
