I don’t usually leave reviews, but this visit felt worth mentioning — mostly because it was such a letdown. I stopped by this location for a quick lunch, thinking I’d get the usual decent sandwich experience. Unfortunately, what I got was mid at best.
Let’s start with the most noticeable issue: they skimped hard on the veggies. I ordered a sub I’ve had dozens of times at other Subway locations, so I know what the standard is supposed to be. Usually, when you ask for vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, and pickles, they give you a good spread — about 6 slices each on a footlong, give or take depending on the size of the veggie or who’s making it. Here? I got 4 slices of each, maybe even less in some cases. It might not sound like a huge deal, but it throws off the whole balance of the sandwich. You’re left with dry bites, uneven flavor, and no crunch where there should be. It’s just disappointing.
Now, to be clear, I’m not someone who expects gourmet food from a chain sandwich place. But when you go to a place like Subway, the appeal is being able to customize your sandwich and get a decent amount of toppings. That’s kind of the whole point, right? Skimping on vegetables — which are honestly the cheapest part of the whole sandwich — just comes off as lazy or stingy. It’s not like I was piling on extras or asking for double portions either. I asked for regular servings, just like I always do.
The service was whatever. The person behind the counter wasn’t rude or anything, but they weren’t particularly friendly either. They seemed rushed even though there was no one else in line. I didn’t bother complaining in person because I figured they’d just brush it off, but now I’m here writing this review hoping someone higher up takes note.
At the end of the day, it wasn’t the worst sandwich I’ve ever had, but it definitely wasn’t a good one. If this was my first time at a Subway, I honestly wouldn’t be in a rush to come back. You don’t expect five-star dining from a fast casual place, but you do expect consistency — and today, they...
Read moreI've tried supporting this location multiple times, only to arrive and find the doors locked—again. After today, i just dont recommend this location. The sign on the door and the website clearly state they close at 8 PM, yet I got there at 7:05 PM, and the place was already closed. Another customer was also waiting for a pickup, just as confused as I was.
As I was walking away, he signaled that someone was finally coming to unlock the door. When I walked in, the manager (bald, older gentleman) told me they close at 7 PM. If that’s the case, why does everything say 8 PM? And why are customers left outside without any explanation?
To make this even more frustrating, we are literally holding a city council meeting in this establishment today on 3/12. How can a business meant to serve the community operate so inconsistently and unprofessionally?
As mableton is growing and new developments are currently in the works. I was excited to have a Subway in Mableton, especially in the EpiCenter, a place designed for families and community gatherings. But if this is how they choose to run things—locking customers out, posting inaccurate hours, and providing terrible service—then serious reconsideration needs to be given to the businesses allowed to operate here.
This is completely unacceptable, and I hope it gets addressed...
Read moreI love the epicenter and I'm not the person who enjoys putting a negative review. However, this is the worst Subway I have ever been to. First of all, the store did not look pleasent. I work at Subway from another store so I know how the store should look. Their chip rack was near empty, the refrigerator was also near-empty. On top of that, the ingredients didn't look fresh. Especially the tomatoes, they were very mushy and ripe. I'm looking at the breads behind the display and the place behind the counter, it was a hot mess. I ordered a sandwich there and I told the guy that I wanted the sunflower crunch. He gave me white bread. He was too busy talking to the other customer he got my bread wrong. On top of that, he served me white bread that was breakable and flakey. He was nice don't get me wrong, but I did not enjoy my sandwich at all. I ordered a footlong Turkey Italiano with bacon and I only finished half of it. I threw the other half in the trash because it was too disappointing. You're better off going to 600 degree Pizza. Their food is off the chain, their store is properly clean and they provide excellent customer service. I would not go back to that Subway ever again and the sign says they close at 8:30 but the employee closes at 8 instead. They need to change the time sign if they want to...
