Sunrise Event Lounge — Restaurant in Georgia

Had my husband 42nd party here and paid $250 for “the section”. Party City delivered balloons and when I arrived my balloons were in 3 different places, some out the bag , in the ceiling, in another room. We initially couldnt find them all and when I asked the owner about them he showed NO concern. He told me to go in another bldg and check upstairs. Eventually after about 30-45 min he brought them from next door. Once the party started after about 2 hrs I had to ask for the bottle that came with the section. They brought the bottle out with the lights and for some reason started singing “Happy Birthday “ not sure why because I had a whole cake in the kitchen for that. Well, needless to say they didnt even bring the cake out so I had to get it at the end of the night and just give it out. Basically I paid $250 for nothing. Drinks are expensive, dj plays on a picnic table , no table cloth or nothing. Not sure what the $250 was for but I hope its to invest in a actual dj booth. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I came here with friends on what was a very slow night — barely any tables were occupied. We sat for 15 minutes before a waitress finally approached us. What we didn’t know at first was that she was intoxicated. She took our drink and food orders, but the drinks took another 10 minutes to come out, and the food never arrived.

We took multiple pictures of just how empty the restaurant was, and of our server taking shots and smoking hookah while we waited. After making multiple complaints, the same intoxicated server was sent back to continue “helping” us. The manager and owner were present and sat by doing absolutely nothing. It wasn’t until I stared the owner down that anyone even attempted to address the issue — and even then, the situation wasn’t handled properly.

We were there for over an hour, only when I had to have a stare down were we given any acknowledgment, and they still charged us. No apology, no attempt to make it right, and no professionalism at all. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Completely...

Tried uploading this and it got deleted 😭 BUT My mom and I traveled to GA to celebrate my aunts bday. She told us she wanted to go to a specific spot but couldn't remember the name and I'd been looking FOREVER on top of there being last minute issues with the cake etc. We literally stumbled upon Blazin' by accident. My mom went in just to see what's up and the owner was cool people. Like REAL Southern Hospitality! Not only did she extend the invitation for us to celebrate there, but she went out of her way. The team whole team was so helpful. She reserved a booth for us to set up, and her team even brought the cake out with extras when it was time 🥹. Not to mention the Dj was 🔥.
