Tasty Donuts Sharpsburg — Restaurant in Georgia

Talk about not judging a book by its cover! I had not planned to come here, but a friend raved about them. From the street, you could not have a more basic and plain store front and its tucked into a unique strip mall type setting. It's not the easiest to get to, and not the most attractive and I had no real intention of ever goinng there with Dunkin mere seconds down the street. HOWEVER, what they lack in flair is more than overcome by the delicious goodness they offer. FRESH, FANTASTIC, WHOLESOME HEAVEN donuts. They will fill them on the spot with fillings as they have multiple options if that is your thing (hint: its is my thing). The prices were great too. Every donut I had was amazing, there are no shortcuts on quality. Easily 5 stars! Worth the effort to get there. I'm a Long John Bavarian donut guy and these are hands down the best around Sharpsburg/Newnan/PTC. Filled them on the spot with plenty of pudding goodness. My family and I happen to be driving in the area and we're talking about how we missed local donut places and we saw Tasty across the street! We quickly decided to go in and it did not dissappoint!! The cashier was knowledgeable, friendly and sweet she awnsered all our questions and was a pleasure to speak with. We got 6 donuts and had our choices of filling done right away, we loved how you can choose your own filling! And they more flavors then just lemon and creme, which is amazing since we got to try something different. It was towards the end of the day but the donuts tasted fresh and incredible even after we left them out for a few hours they were still soft and delectable. While we didn't try the other items on the menu I will absolutely be coming back here to try them as Tasty has won me over in just one visit. WOW, this shop is GREAT! I feel like most places don't change the fry oil frequently enough because most of the time I get donuts, they have a fry oil flavor I don't care for. But these donuts were fresh and so fluffy, with no oil taste at all.

After reading the reviews that they stuff the donuts extra full with filling, I asked for a little less filling because that's actually how I prefer it. My husband just got the normal amount. It was perfect for both of us. I got the glazed bismark filled with blueberry, and he got the chocolate frosted bismark filled with Bavarian creme/ custard. I also tried a cinnamon sugar cake donut. And they threw in a couple of glazed donut holes for free! We loved everything. VERY friendly, great service, and the shop was very clean.
